The Tree of Life

Found it very confusing at first and it was a very slow paced film but once it got going I liked it. Really interesting film about life. Jessica Chastain was so good in it, as was Brad Pitt.

Adventures of Tintin

Good family fun with OTT action sequences, decent storytelling, and an open ending to allow for the inevitable sequel. 7/10

Death Race

Fire In Babylon

It's a documentary film about the West Indies cricket team in the 70's and 80's, pretty interesting and actually quite entertaining, don't normally like feature length documentaries - 7.5/10

InOne 25-02-2012 09:18 PM

Retreat - A big steaming pile of poo 3/10

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (the original Swedish version).

I preferred it to the American remake - the characters and actors weren't so obviously beautiful and it felt more realistic, and I thought Noomi Rapace was slightly better than Rooney Mara (although both were excellent). It was truer to the novel too. 8-9/10
