That surprises me, I would have thought DWUW would have been more successful since it's a lot more radio friendly.

DWUW was number 1 pretty much everywhere, I think it's number 10 on UK iTunes now though, and ARTPOP doing just as well with pre-orders

These all make up for the abomination (Yes, I have a controversial opinion) that was Born This Way.
Way too pretentious an album and made me despise Gaga.

ITV has defended Lady Gaga's X Factor Live Show performance after it prompted 260 complaints from viewers.

The singer performed a medley of her ARTPOP tracks 'Do What U Want' and 'Venus' while wearing flesh-coloured underwear and a seashell bra.

An ITV spokeswoman said: "We do not believe Lady Gaga's performance was inappropriate for the family audience of the X Factor Results Show, which has an established tradition of featuring performances from the biggest music stars.

"Lady Gaga is well known for her highly individual performance style."

Media regulator Ofcom reportedly received 200 complaints for the performance, which aired at 8.25pm - before the 9pm watershed.

A further 60 complaints were made directly to ITV.
