Was it be or where there some really uncomfortable jokes in this episode

I cant remember other episodes ever being like that.

The girl who kept calling her self osama bin laden
the one who said someone about jonbenet ramsey, cant remember exactly what but it was something about looking a mess and attacked.
and michelle saying one of the girls looks like a zika baby.

there were a few more, but i dont remember exactly what, i dont really watch the show, just have in the background

Episode thoughts although some contain spoilers of the returning queen

I think it was refreshing in terms of exceeding its successor, but the storylines didn't really appeal to me and I still didn't get the same vibe as per other seasons.

It's a shame because I really liked a lot of the girls and their drag (Bob, Naomi, Kim (although I do find her overrated and a little try-hard personality-wise), Thorgy, Robbie and Acid Betty). However, I somewhat feel that the show limited most of their capabilities.

Also, the drama was probably the most contrived of any season yet. The whole 'New York triangle' was weird because I didn't understand what it was going to amount to and it felt like an anti-climax in general, plus the Derrick/Naomi feud towards the end was really clutching at straws.

My opinion might change if I ever get round to binge-watching it again though. My thoughts on seasons 1-6 may be different because I didn't watch them seem to week as it aired.

Mystique the most culturally relevant queen

"I have underwear older than her."

idk why but I'm obsessed with the vocal inflection.

Having re-watched this (yes), here are my rankings. I'm probably being a bit generous in giving the majority of them light green, but hey, I'm in a rare optimistic mood, and also we've barely gotten to know a single one of them yet so to go overboard on red would be a little unfair:

Fan Favourite Game Changer London Paris LaGuardia Newark Nina Bo'nina Banana Fofana Osama Bin Laden Bryant Matthews Lattisaw Q On Season 9 Brown From Atlanta Georgia http://i.imgur.com/yqFrse4.gif
Alexis Kween of civil rights! (bonus points on quoting Gypsy)
Peppermint Dodgy hairlines aside
Valentina When can your fave (pull off a beret in their confessionals)
Shea Continuing Mystique's legacy  ps the delight Ross had in reeling off burger puns was one of the highlights of this episode. pps "...I love The Muppets" was another highlight.
Farrah "I've... never vacuumed before!"
Sasha You can tell I expected her to be a lot higher, can't you?
Charlie is old
Kimora "I've never had plastic surgery... oh wait I just remembered, I have" hahahahahahahahaha (but you're hot as a boy so you're forgiven)
Aja
Jaymes I feel bad that she's being turned into the next Magnolia Crawford because she's clearly talented, and I definitely felt for her on Untucked (#DownWithEureka) but on the other hand there wasn't much she contributed to the episode that I didn't cringe at
Eureka She has so much personality and yet... so little personality at the same time, if that makes sense?
Trinity meh. I hope to Rapal that they don't try and make this Trinity/Eureka storyline the new Coco/Alyssa, because it comes nowhere near

Untucked:

Spoiler:

Tom4784 26-03-2017 02:47 AM

I thought it was a little underwhelming, I don't think I have any favourites yet.

Smithy 26-03-2017 09:13 AM

same, the episode just felt like a bit of a non event tbh

iloveaisleyne 26-03-2017 01:14 PM

I think Nina is my favourite. This is the first premiere where I'm struggling to remember their names though which is a bad sign.

Jaymes reminds me of madame laqueer. I don't really know why either.

Thanks for posting that, Hayden. I really enjoyed Untucked.

As for the 14th queen, just some clarification:

Tom4784 26-03-2017 03:35 PM

Untucked was better than the main show.

I still don't have any favourites but Nina will be probably be one of them and Valentina seems lovely and inoffensive. Eureka is a ****.

Shaun 26-03-2017 04:53 PM

Oh yay another series of having to put up with everyone hating a favourite for something innocuous

Braden 26-03-2017 04:58 PM

I was going to say, I was expecting much worse from Eureka based on people's reactions to Untucked :p

That was, like, Shade 101 at its tamest.

Pete. 26-03-2017 06:04 PM

Well that was... uneventful

The sooner this show ditches its teen fans who're dramatically opposed to anything bitchy despite it centering around DRAG QUEENS FFS, the better, but it won't happen so I'll have to make amends with yet another villain that just happens to be the fat one of the season.

Then again I haven't seen it so maybe she has just called someone's mum a bitch idk

Shaun 26-03-2017 08:12 PM

Not miss Stacy Layne being the only unproblematic fatty (and even then she's only liked ironically henny) (despite genuinely being one of the best 5 from s3) (I refuse to accept carmen or delta)

I guess penny and jaidynn weren't hated either but I reckon penny would've totally beaten the **** out of serena cha cha had she won

(And latrice obvs)

She's a **** because she's trying so hard to BE the shady queen of the series. If she was just a bitch I'd like her but the desperation is exasperating.

Yea I agree with this she was Constantly making shady comments and majority of them were not funny or needed
I don't dislike her because she's bitchy or shady it's cause she's not and she's trying to be
