http://puu.sh/gFr3d/9552b2bfca.png Power of Veto Good evening everyone! Last night after Tom became the new Head of Household, he nominated Josh and Iceman to face the seventh Elimination. But as always those nominations could change after the latest Power of Veto competition. Tonight it's called Friday Night Takeaway and this is how it works: I'm going to post a line of lyrics with some words missing, and it is your job to respond in the thread with the words that are missing. With each round there will be more words missing, so in round one there'll only be one word to find, in round two there'll be two words and so on and so forth. You must post the missing words in the exact order that they are missing. In each round one player will be eliminated, and it will either be the last person to answer correctly, or if applicable, the first person to answer incorrectly (i.e. words in the wrong order, or incorrect words listed). When a player is eliminated they will get to pick a number from a prize board, and I will reveal what prize is behind it, along with a description of what it entails. There are five game advantages and two game disadvantages to be won, as well as the Power of Veto. With every new player eliminated, they will have a choice of whether they wish to keep the prize that they have chosen, or swap it for one of the other prizes already won. This means that the winner of the game will therefore have a pick of all of the prizes. When the game is over, all of the prizes in people's possession are confirmed, and whoever holds the Power of Veto will claim it for themselves. Once again there is to be no editing of answers in this game, and you may only answer once. I really don't want to eliminate anyone for editing but I will have to, so please don't do it. I will allow for one or two letter typos every so often so long as the words are clearly identifiable, but this is at my discretion. There are also a couple of instances where I will accept missing words that have the same meaning but are either a verb or an adjective, since some of the lyric websites list them differently. Any questions? |
Omg, this sounds great! :flutter:
This task is on point.
I understand and I'm ready!
i love the sound of this :flutter:
If Jersey isn't here then we'll be one player down so therefore:
- There will only be seven prizes on offer; the PoV, five game advantages and one disadvatange - The first round will have two words missing, not one |
I love that you're doing the prize swap thing too, I always like that on BBUS/Canada. :)
omg i love this task
This could be really interesting.
are you ant or dec though
Wait, one question. We just post the correct lyrics, we don't need to post the whole line of the song with the blanks filled in?
omg hold on just reading now!!

Please only post the missing words in the order that they are missing, otherwise it just gets confusing  so if the missing words were 'heart', 'love' and 'desire' you would go: heart, love, desire |

just, you, crazy |
