I haven't watched Corrie for two weeks! I've been so busy with college work, guess I'll have to catch up this week.

Sorry to go off-topic but does anyone know Where Chewy is? He hasn't been on in a while, maybe he's gone on holiday.

The cast and crew of Coronation Street took to the streets of Manchester again yesterday for yet more on-location filming. This time, the scenes involved Roy Cropper (David Neilson) and Ken Barlow (Bill Roache) being arrested in a drugs raid. Sound crazy? I thought so, too, but rest assured it's a complete misunderstanding.

Roy finds a package which has been left in the café and decides to take it back to its owner. Roy and Ken arrange to deliver the packet and as they're approaching two dodgy-looking youths, they're ambushed by undercover cops, arrested and dragged to Weatherfield police station for questioning.

Becky (Kat Kelly), meanwhile, finds the whole thing highly amusing when she goes to pick them up. What would Hayley say?

Tom4784 19-07-2008 06:06 PM

It sounds quite funny, can't wait to see it.

Off Topic: CHEWY! You're back! Hey!

Jackie 19-07-2008 06:10 PM

Ha ha That should be fun to watch.

Hello chewy haven't seen you around for ages.

Scarlett. 19-07-2008 06:30 PM

Liz (Bev Callard) finds herself in a love triangle after Harry (Jack Ellis) invites her out for the day to celebrate another milestone towards getting his divorce finalised. After a day out together, Harry suggests they go back to his flat for a nightcap, unaware that Clarissa (Alexandra Boyd) has slipped into something more comfortable and is waiting for Harry to return to a candle-lit meal. Despite making a speedy exit, Clarissa directs her fury at Liz and follows her over to the Rovers, starting what escalates into a bar room brawl between the two women. Who will come out the winner?

Everywhere Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) goes John Stape (Graeme Hawley) seems to be there and she is finding it increasingly difficult to avoid him. When Norris (Malcom Hebdon) makes a remark to him in the Kabin, Fiz finds herself coming to his defence leaving Kelly to wonder if she was motivated by still having feelings for him.

Elsewhere, Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) is delighted when Prem invites him to play golf and Blanche (Maggie Jones) is concerned about Ken's (WIlliam Roache) friendship with Ted (Michael Byrne).

Meanwhile, having witnessed Molly's excited conversations with her Aunty Pam about the wedding, Tyrone starts to wonder if she realy will be happy with the small wedding they have planned.

This episode is written by Carmel Morgan and directed by Jerry Smith. The producer is Kim Crowther.

***PI for the rest of the week follows***

Monday 28 July 8.30 - 9pm

Liz (Beverly Callard) is furious that Clarissa (Alexandra Boyd) has wrecked her evening with Harry (Jack Ellis) and tells him to call her when he has sorted the situation out. Harry is surprised that Clarissa has decided she wants him back but he won’t play the game so she throws his dinner at the wall and storms out. As Liz waits with anticipation for the call from Harry she is surprised to see Clarissa walk into the pub and it isn’t long before a slanging match starts between the two women. Liz is delighted when Harry decides to escort Clarissa out of the Rovers and is convinced he will be back to finish the evening with her - but she hasn't bargained on the continuing passion between Harry and his ex-wife.

Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) is delighted that he has hit it off with Prem (Madhav Sharma) and the pair chat about life and business over a drink at the golf club bar before heading back to the Street where Prem starts Dev thinking about his future and he admits his life has been on hold since his split with Sunita. Has Prem inspired him to make changes for the better?

Despite saying she only wants a small wedding, Tyrone (Alan Halsall) decides to take Jack’s (Bill Tarmey) advice and ‘give Molly (Vicky Binns) the wedding she really wants’. He tries to get some extra shifts at streetcars to save money, but Steve knocks him back. Will Tyrone ever manage to get the money together to give Molly the wedding of her dreams? And even if he does, will it turn out to be the wedding of her nightmares?

Elsewhere Jason and Becky arrive home from their holiday to the news that Michelle and Steve has split up and Ken rediscovers his manuscript for a novel he started as a student.

This episode is written by Debbie Oates and directed by Jerry Smith. The producer is Kim Crowther.

Wednesday 30 July 7.30 - 8pm

Harry (Jack Ellis) is regretting leading Liz (Beverly Callard) on now that he knows Clarissa (Alexander Boyd) wants him back and he agrees to move back in with her. He apologises to Liz who is disappointed but refuses to let it show and walks away head held high. Meanwhile, Clarissa can’t resist rubbing Liz's nose in it and takes Harry to the Rovers for a 'farewall drink'. After a few barbed comments from Clarissa, Liz can take no more and turns the tables on her pretending Harry has pinched her bum. When the drinks start flying Liz seizes her moment and with great relish bars Clarissa from the Rovers! War is declared..

Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) is gobsmacked when he meets Prem (Madhav Sharma) at the golf club and a famous Bollywood star from his youth walks into the bar. He's even more shocked when she turns out to be Prem's wife Nina (Harvey Virdi). Amber (Nikki Patel) is amused when Dev retuns home in a state of excitement and goes straight onto the internet to look up Nina.

Ken (William Raoche) is still holed up in the living room and it looks as though he's been working on his book all night, much to Blanche (Maggie Jones) and Deridre's (Anne Kirkbride) despair.

Elsewhere, Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) is still having no luck avoiding John, (Graeme Hawley) and Auntie Pam (Kate Anthony) teaches Tyrone (Alan Halsall) how to turn the pennies into pounds.

This episode is written by Jonathan Harvey and directed by Jerry Smith. The producer is Kim Crowther.

Friday 1 August 7.30 - 8pm

Harry (Jack Ellis) makes it clear that he has no intention of drinking anywhere else than the Rovers so tells Clarissa (Alexandra Boyd) that she had better apologise to Liz (Beverly Callard) if she intends to try and keep an eye on him. Clarissa swallows her pride and Liz feels obliged to accept her apology but it is killing them both to be civil. Later, as Clarissa exchanges barely concealed insults with Liz before waltzing out with Harry, Liz vows to try even harder to win him back.

Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) is on cloud nine this morning after meeting Nina (Harvey Virdi) but tells Harry he is not going to risk ruining his friendship with Prem (Nadhav Sharma) by messing with his wife. It doesn't stop him accepting an invitation to Prem and Nina's for dinner and dressing to impress, much to Amber's disdain. Prem has invited his attractive young accountant to make up the foursome but Dev only has eyes for Nina and when she offers herself to him on a plate he can't believe his luck!

Becky (Katherine Kelly) decides to play matchmaker and try to get Steve (Simon Gregson) and Michelle (Kym Ryder) back together and enlists Eileen in her plan. It looks like there is a glimmer of hope when Michelle admits that she is not enjoying the separation.

Elsewhere, the booze cruisers set off on their trip and Janice (Vicky Entwistle) sets the tone from the start by cracking open a can of lager.

This episode is written by Martin Allen and directed by Jerry Smith. The producer is Kim Crowther.

Friday 1 August 8.30 - 9pm

Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) can't believe that Nina (Harvey Virdi) wants to have an affair with him and he is thrown when she turns up at the shop on the pretext of running an errand for Prem. It soon becomes clear however that she has other things on her mind and she makes it clear to Dev that she wants him. In a bid to get her out of his system Dev decides to take Prem's financial assistant on a date but it is a disaster and when he returns Nina is at the shop. Will he be able to resist her this time?

Kevin (Michael Le Vell) is feeling the pinch after having his prices undercut by a rival garage. He goes to the garage to investigate and is furious to discover that the owner is a mate of Tony's (Gray O'Brien). Realising this is all part of Tony's plan to put him out of business Kevin returns to the street to confront him.

Liz (Beverly Callard) decides to play Clarissa (Alexandra Boyd) at her own game and heads for the bookies where she asks Harry (Jack Ellis) for advice on placing a bet. Clarissa is furious but knows that she is powerless to stop Liz coming into the bookies.

Elsewhere John (Graeme Hawley) makes some headway with his friendship with Fiz (Jennie McAlpine).

This episode is written by Martin Allen and directed by Jerry Smith. The producer is Kim Crowther.
