It's not how much he used them, its how he used them.

This weeks episode has to be the first one in this half of the series that I'm indifferent about, it'll probably be fun, but its not one I'm excited for, I'm more excited for Nightmare in Silver and The Name of the Doctor.

According to Cameron McKewen (Blogtor) fan reaction will be similar to Journey.

Finale details revealed, very spoilery:

Loved it. Fun, camp romp but without being too silly. Reminded me of an RTD ep but with a better thought out solution.

GypsyGoth 04-05-2013 07:35 PM

I thought it was great, I've caught up on all the eps this series.

The submarine one was pretty good, I know they can't make it too scary because of the timeslot, but I felt the ep could have been helped if there was more tension.

The haunted house ep was clever, a mixture of spookiness and scifi.

Seeing so much of the tardis in last week's ep was wonderful, there are endless stories you could have in the place. Those monsters chasing them were freaky.

And I thoroughly enjoyed tonight's ep, I really like the victorian heroes, I hope there's at least another ep set there this series.

Spoiler:

They're in the finale, though it's set at Trenzalore

I think a lot of Who is hampered by being in the "tween" timeslot where it has to reign a lot of stuff in.

I know it's primarily for kids but the show would be so much better if it could be a bit ballsier.

However, I enjoyed tonights. Creepy, campy and surreal. This and Hide are the best of this new series for me. All of the others I found pretty mediocre.

Scarlett. 04-05-2013 09:21 PM

I thought tonights episode was great, and it was nice to have a simple end to the story. Strax was amazing as usual

Scarlett. 04-05-2013 11:39 PM

From the next time trailer, it looks like the Cybermen
Spoiler:

have taken a leaf out of the borg's book, and can assimilate people.

It's hilarious to see social justice tumblr blogs getting upset about the Doctor kissing Jenny.

I mean, Eleven kisses everyone, even Rory!

John Hurt has confirmed his role in the 50th:

And a poster on GB, who has apparently seen the much talked about, exciting pre-credits sequence for the finale, claims, in believable detail:

Spoiler:

That it features Clara interacting with Docs 1-7 via past footage

oh what did he do

Scarlett. 10-05-2013 06:08 PM

He's cut it to film something, can't remember what, he'll probably grow it back in time to film the Christmas special.

More info on the finale

Little teaser from radio times

The Time Lord’s identity is certainly key to this momentous story, which — in a clever way that will have fans rewinding their recordings — takes in his whole story from Gallifrey to the end of days on Trenzalore...There’s a funeral air as the Great Intelligence and his undertaker-like Whisper Men intrude upon a bizarre conference call across the centuries between the Doctor’s closest allies: Vastra, Jenny, Strax, Clara and River Song. For some of our heroes, life will never be the same again, in one of the most audacious and emotional episodes to date.

Scarlett. 11-05-2013 09:18 PM

Tonights episode was great, didn't like the annoying bratty girl though, the other kid was okay, the Porridge was funny. The new Cybermen were good, though their run looked a bit dodgy, lol.

Oh, and did anyone spot this in the "Next time"?

Marcus. 11-05-2013 09:21 PM

did any one see the red button bit

Scarlett. 11-05-2013 09:25 PM

The prequel? Yup, it's on Youtube too :)
