Was he created as an adult? I haven't seen Genesis of the Daleks but from the summaries I've read etc I've never come across that (or that he was first created in that episode). Also, on the Doctor Who wiki, some of the companion stories give him a childhood backstory (their canonicity is usually debateable but I'm sure they usually try to stay consistent with the show as much as they can).

But like I say, I haven't actually seen the episode in question so I really don't know.

he wasn't created as an adult was he we just met him in genesis? he was just another Kaled before. Can't what happened to him to end up crippled.

if were seeing young Davros we'll probably be seeing more Kaled v Thals dramz and we'll see what led to create the daleks

In Genesis we only met Davros after he was made into Davros, so as Armand says I assume we will see Kaled vs Thals stuff that led to Davros' 'birth'

the audio adventures are where they explored Davros's past I think. I don't know how canon they're considered to be though. Certainly the only time we've ever seen or known of Davros in the TV series have been after his transformation into whatever he is today. RTD said they were originally going to have a scene in the series 4 finale which showed Davros in some sort of science experiment that went wrong when he was a young man but it had to be cut for time

idk, Sarah said in Journey's End that she witnessed Davros' creation. In the episode where she supposedly witnessed his creation, he was already an adult.

River did my nut in by the end of her story mainly because the writing was so ****ing mangled by the time she left. I love the character though :love:

He wasn't created as an adult. We first met him as an adult, mangled and scarred from the war with the Thals.

I can't wait to see this episode. Episodes with the Daleks always make me happy. I'm interested to see whether the Supreme Dalek from S4 is the same Dalek considering Jack blew it up.
