I agree. Scotland Yard have repeatedly spoken about its concerns over national security and public safety because of budgetary cuts.

The fire service is in an even worse state. Ten fire stations were closed in London last year. Sixteen fire engines - 14 pumps and two specialist fire rescue units - as well as 552 firefighter jobs went in the capital, while more than half London's wards reportedly saw response times increase in the months following. http://www.standard.co.uk/news/londo...-10173819.html

Sadly, London is no stranger to very real terrorism and so when we get a catastrophic terrorist attack on our neighbours land, it becomes our highest priority risk. That means Operation Cobra is on red alert right now but my question is, have we enough 'Strong Tower' trainees to cope? Could our emergency services that have now dwindled down, be an adequate rapid response team? and if not, should we be getting our armies to make a presence on the streets of our cities?

Yep. If only we had spent all those zillions which we have wasted on EU membership, and in accomodating all its OPEN DOOR immigration Free For All policies, and in contributing 'Aid' to countries who have stronger economies than ours, and to corrupt countries to squander on 'Vanity Projects etc etc etc etc etc - Then perhaps we could have taken better care of our own homeless and needy and sick, and strengthened our Military, and extended our Security and Intelligence Services.

And if only we did not keep bowing to anti-British propaganda and dancing like their marionettes, and screaming and protesting every time our OWN government calls for EXTRA powers to help defeat these murdering scumbags.

In the immortal words of the great Humphrey Bogart: "All the 'Copy-Pasta' in the cyber world does not amount to a hill of beans if it always emanates from the same sinister Anti-Democratic sources kid"

Though Bogey may have been wrong when he said; "We'll always have Paris" because IF the appeasers in this world continue to get their way, we may not have Paris for much longer - Or London, or New York, or Amsterdam, or Stockholm etc etc etc etc.

No Adam - All those idiots who think we can negotiate with these insane demons are living in a Dream World . Unfortunately their penchant for operating their mouths without engaging a brain is compelling all us who DO NOT share their idiot dreams to live in a ******* nightmare.

And I am now SICK and Tired of hearing them.

It was suggested this would happen when Angela decided to open Germany's borders to all, Cameron may do a lot wrong but his decision to take refugees directly from camps was a sound policy.

I totally agree and now it's been confirmed they registered as a refugee if this doesn't make Europe rethink the situation I don't know what will.

I feel so bad for the genuine people of syria who just want to get themselves and their families to safety, it breaks my heart thinking about if it were me and my family who happened to have been born there rather than this side of the world. But becuase of these attacks on Paris I think Europe is left with little choice but to close the borders for now :(

I know but if they had actually addressed the crises properly to begin with instead of passing it around like a hot potato from country to country, European leaders have contributed to this and should feel ashamed

Ah Ok...takes my sensitive hat off!

On another note, I've just found out through a friend, that a friend of hers (someone I don't know) daughter was killed in the shooting last night. She is English.

Yes I'm thinking this too, earlier the attacks provoked responses such as 'we are all humans'... I didn't hear that sentiment as such for the refugees just suspicion, this news of course will just fuel that.

I.m still waiting for all the Islamic countries to bond together and send in troops to wipe out isis.
It's great that Russia is doing something, but surely it would be even better if all Islamic countries sent in massive amounts of troops to wipe the floor with the scum that is isis.
My sympathy to all the innocent victims in France.

This the thing I hate is how all Islamic countries are perceived as terrorist when there not this terrorist are not Muslims and do not follow by Islam rules , I saw a list of things on Twitter earlier by a Muslim of all the things they should not do and these terrorist groups have done all of those things they shouldn't.

Not entirely sure what it all means but his cousin was killed in the attacks last night whilst Diarra was playing at the stadium for France, its all a bit mental.

This comes after police raided a neighbourhood of the Belgian capital earlier on Saturday.
