Wenger deserves a 3 year extension :clap1:

Denver 01-05-2017 08:54 PM

Important win they could all but secure Champions League next week if results go their way :clap1:

Denver 01-05-2017 09:26 PM

Just seen Man U next 2 teams are Arsenal and Tottenham perched for them to lose both

Denver 07-05-2017 02:24 PM

That is a reason why Milner will be sold piss poor attempt at a penalty i seen grannies do better

Denver 07-05-2017 02:24 PM

Arsenal need to step up and do us a favour now

Denver 07-05-2017 04:14 PM

Is this really Arsenal playing?

Shaun 07-05-2017 05:52 PM

:flutter:

Brother Leon 07-05-2017 06:18 PM

Not sure what the purpose was. If you make 8 changes then at least go all out and attack. Nothing to lose really. Ahh well. Just got to try win Europa now. If we manage that then we've still had a better season than everyone bar Chelsea.

Shaun 07-05-2017 06:25 PM

Yeah I cba gloating because CL football through winning the Europa would be great anyway.

Will be a bit devastated when there're 5 English teams in the CL and we aren't one of them, mind. (Or does the Europa League winner just take the place of whoever finishes 4th?)

James 07-05-2017 08:06 PM

I was wondering that too. Top four still qualify for the Champions League no matter if Man Utd win the Europa. http://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/...23/story.shtml

I've got a feeling they are going to blow it in the final though.

Denver 07-05-2017 08:11 PM

Like Liverpool last season </3

I have that feeling too, but if we don't beat Ajax in a one off match then CL isn't deserved anyway.

longstar 11-05-2017 05:55 AM

for the last few years, their has been a big change in the top 4, the real reason why Ferguson retired from man utd back in 2013, was that he knew that the current team that he had, could not match big spending teams like Chelsea and man city, and he knew that the winning game was up for him, and went out in a high note, and their is a big power shift in Manchester, where the blue end of the city is grabbing up the red end of the city, and what fans of man utd and arsenal need to understand that the days of yours teams being in the two top spots in the league, are long gone now, if you look at the power shift in London, it was always Chelsea and Arsenal, but today, not anymore, why, arsenal's problems started after they won the league in 2004, because when the special one walked into Chelsea in 2004, they spent big and won the league two times, and by 2007, Wenger realized that big money was the main factor in winning the league, but he know's that the club has no money to spend on world class players, why, because they spent all the big money on the new stadium, and there is a big reason why the club have kept him to this day and gets paid millions, Ferguson and Wenger are two very rare managers who can get teams into the top spots and still win the league and other cups, with little money to spend, when Fergie left utd, they still too this day can't get into the top spot, and its the same reason for Wenger, why, getting into the top 4 now is more harder now than it was ten years ago,

Nonsense. He hadn't missed a penalty since 2009, it was always going to happen eventually. He had scored 7 for us this season before this game. He's a midfielder that has been played at left back all season and looked just as good if not better than 90% of real left backs that play in this league. The only reason he would be sold is if he wanted to leave himself and play for a team that will play him in midfield, otherwise he's staying and rightfully so. The team as a whole were absolutely terrible going forward in this game (as they have been in almost every game in 2017), blame them for creating absolutely **** all for 90 minutes instead.

Having said that Moreno should be given away to anyone that will take him and an upgrade brought in to either challenge Milner or take his place, depending on who it is. But even if that happens he'll still get plenty of game time whether that be rotating at left back, chipping in at centre mid, or even playing out wide now and then (which we really could have done with in Mane's absence this season.)

He let Forster bully him which he should have been carded for because stamping the ground away is a yellow card offence

Milner will he back up only and hardly play next season with either Tierney or Sessegon coming in.

Next season will be full of changes where you will see the likes of Sturridge, Clyne, Lucas, Moreno, Klavan, Stewart all be got rid off and replaced.

The actually one major problem we have is quality on the bench and nobody to come on and make an impact that is why we will look to sign someone similar to Mane for the opposite side

Milner will play plenty next season. 16 year old Sessegnon with 23 championship appearances to his name isn't going to be the first choice at a club in (hopefully) the Champions League. Clyne isn't going either, what the hell are you on about? Clyne is one of the most solid right backs in the league, he was before we signed him and still is.

The bench is a problem obviously but that isn't the only one. We've won 8 out of 22 games since New Year, that's a much bigger problem than 7 players on the bench.

What's the talk in Liverpool about Lukaku's future Locke? Is he joining the Mancs?

Probably be Chelsea, won't it? Starting to sound like Costa will be off. Probably depends on what happens with Ibrahimovic as well. Would hate to see him at Utd though.

So some youtube channel with 192 subscribers say Clyne is leaving? Must be happening.

James Pearce, Paul Joyce and Tony Barrett are the most credible sources for news about us, and not one of them have mentioned Clyne leaving or anything about signing a right back. They've linked us to Naby Keita, Sessegnon, Van Djik, Oxlade Chamberlain, etc.

We have a very good right back already and a huge prospect in Alexander-Arnold as his understudy. If anything, right back is the one single position in the squad that doesn't need an additional player added to it.

The only post I can find about selling Clyne is by Ed001 who says that we are selling him and replacing him with Ricardo Pereira. Just searched on twitter and the only rumours about him there are from the daily star. So one guy and the Daily Star vs local journalists that are 99% correct about our signings and sales every window. Who to believe?
