Following the challenges, the ex-housemates enter the house for a big party.

He adds as the pair hug and kiss: "You are the most amazing thing I've met in the last few years of my life."

I believe Shane and Andrew friendship is genuine. Andrew was friends with Shane before he knew about his popularity. Could it become more than a friendship? I don't know. They clearly have a lot of love for each other. So it's up to them. :)
