Very counterproductive

Yes she is Dangerous
imagine a Pro trump fella on a stretcher
she could kill him............................

Voice your opinion is fine
But never shout Nazi Scum in a Rage
at a American during D-Day week.

Come on now, I’ve seen some whataboutery before, but it’s a massive stretch between voicing an opinion and murder, don’t be ridiculous

Casually forgetting the defence of John Rhys Davies when he was aggressive and slamming his fists on a table towards Caroline Lucas?

The inconsistency! Whew!

Imagine defending this

It's dishonest and a sadly common characteristic of the current right wing.

Even if he stood there and said he was going to help Trump re-light the ovens and throw them all in, it wouldn't warrant the crowd's response.

Yeah i would agree with this tbh.

Mind I don't think it has anything to do with her job so being sacked/resigning seems OTT.

Depends on the job - if she was some kind of carer or a nurse, or worked in education, it wouldn't be that OTT really - I wouldn't want a psycho like that looking after me or my relatives.

IF that is what happened, as it stands there is no footage of how the situation came to be that incensed. The woman is a dick but let's be honest, if she was a brexiter or a Trump supporter doing the same thing then a lot of people who signed that petition to get her the sack would be calling such a petition a sign of censorship.

Maybe it's time to start referring to them as Stalinists. Let's diminish the seriousness of what he did in the same way the Left are diminishing what Hitler did by referring to people as Nazis without having the first clue what that means.

Attacks on abortion clinics, attacks on mosques and gospel churches, attacks on protesters with a car, the murder of an MP over Brexit. All these are examples of right wing terrorism and only the incidents I can think of off the top of my head. There's plenty of attacks that don't make the headlines.

The reason why people speak about far right a lot is because it represents a growing terrorist threat. What you are trying to do here is just false equivalency really. The extreme sides of anything should be denounced, both are a threat although it's undeniable that the Far Right are by far the biggest threat. We should denounce both of them, we should denounce people on our side who are extreme in their approach, not defend them out of tribalism.

They screamed at him, it wasn't a good thing to do but it's not like they set him on fire or attacked him. There's lots of right wing people on Twitter who are clutching their pearls, pretending to be outraged when, if the shoe was on the other foot, they would be cheering on the crowd if they stood in support with Trump. If Tommy Robinson can punch people with no condemnation from his followers then the similar crowds that champion Trump wouldn't be offended if Trump supporters screamed in the face of anti-trump protesters.

The people behind that petition and the right wing commentators on Twitter aren't offended by what they've seen, they just want the chance to stick the knife in and try to demean the wide reaching protests by using one incident that was most likely set up.

What about all those trump supporters who berate any form of media at his rallies? Should they all lose their jobs because they aggressively shout, snarl and swear at people too?

Let’s start being intellectually honest with ourselves and not fall into a pattern of hypocrisy shall we

Yup, it's only fake news when the right don't want to acknowledge it but they'll accept the sketchiest stories as fact as long as it lines up with their agenda.
