If Starmer is back Tomorrow after his covid.
He will demand an answer from The Prime Minister
something Like "was he with the other 40 MP's
in the Garden in May 2020?"

From a Legal fella just on LBC.

bots 11-01-2022 04:06 PM

all boris will say is that he cant comment during an ongoing investigation.

joeysteele 11-01-2022 04:10 PM

It's really beyond all reason that someone can't say if they were or weren't at a gathering.

That they have to wait for someone who definitely wasn't there, to investigate to in effect then say that person was there or not.

What a useless excuse for a man Johnson really is.

He cant pull that BS as this is not in a court and the investigation is being made by his own party so he can say what he likes

and also he cant seriously tell the house he cannot recall what happened last year unless someone who isnt him investigates

like he has dementia or summat

Will Starmer be congratulating Boris on his handling of the Covid situation ??

###
The UK is the closest of any country in the northern hemisphere to exiting the Covid-19 pandemic, an expert has said.

Professor David Heymann, from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), suggested in a Chatham House online briefing that the UK was seeing the disease become endemic.

He said: “In general, now, the countries that we know best in the northern hemisphere have varying stages of the pandemic.

“And probably, in the UK, it’s the closest to any country of being out of the pandemic if it isn’t already out of the pandemic and having the disease as endemic as the other four coronaviruses.”

"Will Starmer be congratulating Boris on his handling of the Covid situation ??"

No sadly
it will be all about an Outside gathering /party
Starmer is easy to read

arista 12-01-2022 07:33 AM

Good News No Angela,
Starmer is back today
after testing OK.

Time Radio Reports

arista 12-01-2022 07:38 AM

Nor should he be congratulating him on over 20,000 estimated unnecessary loses of lives of others loved ones.

Yes, to the vaccine roll out enacted with the efficiency and determination of local authorities of ALL parties and the NHS itself.
Yes to that.

To near most of everything else in this pandemic, this PM and this government have been more like a disaster.

Sorry to say that too because if ever we should have had post the second world war, the as near perfect response to something, this pandemic was that.
Yet this PM and his government set out to only do it their way, dismissing other Parties elected to parliament.

Which resulted in the early to mid chaos and those shocking deaths unnecessarily of others loved ones, family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues.

arista 12-01-2022 09:07 AM

Many Press are saying he is going to do a Statement
before PMQ's?

bots 12-01-2022 09:30 AM

he will try to shut the topic down. Whether thats by more obfuscation or some sort of apology remains to be seen. I think some sort of apology will satisfy the majority of tory mp's so thats what he will go for

Crimson Dynamo 12-01-2022 09:45 AM

and every journalist so far on the radio and i have heard 3 - say he and Carrie were deffo at the shindig

bots 12-01-2022 09:52 AM

if he wasn't at the event he would simply have said he didnt know as he was not there. The private secretary to the PM doesnt send out an email inviting staff to a party during a lockdown unless it was done under instruction from Boris. Boris basically set it up

Crimson Dynamo 12-01-2022 10:15 AM

So surely Chris Whitty must have known about this too?

bots 12-01-2022 10:20 AM

Someone putting a bit of distance between themselves and events

user104658 12-01-2022 10:42 AM

Honestly it's such a dumb distraction and irrelevance; hold the government to account for our under-funded health service, our absolutely shocking schools, their treatment of the unemployed, their piss-poor provision for disability ... countless ways they systemically disrespect and abuse every single member of the public who isn't a millionaire with land and large stock investments ... not which members of the party "did naughty". It doesn't really matter! They'll get a slap on the wrist, or replaced! If they're replaced it'll be with another cookie-cutter piece of ****! It's a complete waste of time and they bank on people focussing on the individuals instead of the bigger picture.
