The BBC need to show Jaki
and her Scottish Fish and Chip protest.

But they Won't

AnnieK 09-09-2022 05:32 AM

Her funeral will be a week on Monday and considered a National Day of Mourning.
She will be laid to rest with her parents and Prince Philip's remains will be transferred to the Chapel to rest with her

Still no decision about the weekend's football other than the EFL fixtures today have been postponed

Tbf she has kinda asked for trouble here.

I honestly don't get what she (the Queen) did to deserve this particular reaction.

This is what should be on the TV news

Why I hate the BBC on this
they have regional reporters
there

Put it on TV news

Debate it.

I checked the BBC Site - Nothing??????????????

I was just looking up how old the Queen Mother was when she died and she was almost 102.

I did think the Queen would live to about 104 because a few years ago, she still looked very strong.

But that can happen to the human body. I remember Bruce Forsyth, always fit as a fiddle, even in his 80s, but then suddenly he was very old and he got a lot of serious medical conditions and went frail and bedbound and then died.

Sad. :(

The Owner hates all Royals

That is why the UK is special

Police have closed her Fish & Chip store

If that lady was in China
for example,
against the leader, like that,
they would Lock her away.

I too could see Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11 reaching at least 100.

Your last paragraph is spot on once any infection, or stroke or other condition hits at old age, the risks of not being able to fight it are magnified greatly.

It is really sad.

As has been said yesterday, none of us know if Her Majesty had any other conditions other than only the mobility one which was revealed.

Really sad indeed is her loss, an incredibly long life and her devotion to her duties as Monarch and how she carried all of them out.
Is a great example to all.

Just as well because I was just going to bed then haha. I'm sure you wouldn't have been disrespectful though, always good to get a different perspective!

Cherie 09-09-2022 07:38 AM

Even though the Queen had to remain neutral, I think at times you knew exactly what she was thinking, her meeting with Donald Trump springs to mind

The basic thing is that you don't need to be nasty and thoughtless to make your point. She isn't a monarchist, argue that point

Josy 09-09-2022 07:56 AM

It's perfectly fair if people don't like someone and don't hide that fact but actually celebrating someone's death is just so horrible imo [emoji53]

Yes it upset the local people
but I still feel the BBC should show it,
it is the balance we have

It's on Some Scottish papers

One you have to log into
which I will not
