In a way i kind of want Tanya to get togehter with Sean now.
I miss Bradley and Stacey now that there on their honeymoon though.
I too felt so sorry for Jean,I really like her and hate Sean for being so evil towards her.I know what its like to live with some with bi polar disorder so it kinda hits home sometimes.

- Two episodes on Christmas day, one sad and one happy

All sound very exciting to me, can't wait!

Callum 03-11-2007 04:39 PM

Just to let the ones who don't already know: the video camera of Max and Stacey kissing, does eventually get developed into a DVD-rom for viewing, so it will all definitley come out.

dbh-g 04-11-2007 01:00 AM

Sorry I can't do the hidden spoiler thing but their not major. Reading the episode analysis' for next weeks EE, Mrs Patel is the new owner of Billy and Honey's flat, and doesn't want them as her tenants as she wants someone more professional.

Jack is the new owner of the club, and asks ronnie to manage it as hes going back to manchester (?, i thought he was staying around for a while as a permanent character).

Very exciting. I suppose they have to come up with some great christmas storylines to grab the viewers during the Christmas period or people won't bother to watch. I doubt that the Queen Vic will explode. Soaps always come up with stories which wouldn't hardly ever happen in the real world.

Matt 04-11-2007 02:48 AM

Yawn... another predictable EE Christmas:

That's why I stopped watching soaps years ago: they're far too repetitive

BBC rules out five eipsodes of EastEnders per week

The BBC has ruled out broadcasting EastEnders five times a week, its chairman said, because it wants to keep its schedules "distinctive".
The Corporation was considering adding to the current four episodes a week.

EastEnders, one of BBC1's highest-rated programmes, beat Coronation Street to win best soap at the National Television Awards.

In a speech to the Royal Television Society, Sir Michael Lyons said the BBC needed to innovate.

He said the Corporation needed to take "creative risks", "set standards" and make programmes that "you simply won't get from other broadcasters".

He said: "There is always a tension for the BBC here, between distinctiveness and competitiveness - since it is much easier to gain competitive edge by concentrating on certain genres than others, but only with a loss of distinctiveness.

"That's the challenge we've put to the Executive. And the Executive's recent decision, for example, not to commission a fifth weekly episode of EastEnders, reflects their response to our challenge to them to keep BBC schedules distinctive."

A BBC spokeswoman said: "EastEnders is a fantastic jewel in the BBC1 crown and is much loved by BBC audiences, as demonstrated by its success at the National Television Awards yesterday.

"However, in addition to continuing dramas, we are focusing new investment on a range of high-impact, distinctive drama series of wide appeal, from classics such as this autumn's new five-part drama serial Cranford Chronicles, starring Judi Dench, to modern drama that captures the imagination of audiences, such as Life On Mars, Doctor Who and Spooks."

Sir Michael made the comments days after it was announced that EastEnders favourites Patsy Palmer and Sid Owen were reprising their roles as Bianca Jackson and Ricky Butcher on the show.

I think that's a good idea. It's fine how it is now. And the best soap on the box

In Pictures: Thugs raid Queen Vic

Here is a first look at Albert Square's watering hole being raided by a group of football hooligans who are hot on the tail of troubled father Jase Dyer.

The unemployed bachelor – played by Stephen Lord – has tried everything to escape his villainous past but his old acquaintances aren't prepared to let him slip away.

After telling gang leader Terry Bates (Nicholas Ball) that he wants out for the final time, Jase returns to Walford in the hope that he has finally slammed the door in the face of his criminal influences.

However, Jase's past catches up with him in a way which he could never have imagined when his old gang raid The Vic in search of him.

A show source revealed to DS: "Jase is trying is hardest to turn the corner – he's paid his dues coutersy of Her Majesty but his former thuggish cronies are persistent.

"They're hunting him down and take a chance that he's in The Vic. All hell breaks loose inside and when they hear a baby crying upstairs, they presume he's hiding away in the pub's living quarters.

"Ronnie and Peggy try to block their infiltration attempt, while Roxy gets stuck in with a baseball bat in true Mitchell style."

They added: "These are truly awesome scenes but one local is left in an extremely dangerous situation…"

The raid episode is to air on Tuesday, November 13 on BBC One at 7.30pm.
