NEW SINGLE INFORMATION!!

A clip will be played on the radio (not sure which one yet) on Monday at 7pm *apparently*.
It's called Party Girl and is out on 6th September

Album will be out 12th September apparently.. but who knows!

They also have other 'secret projects', in which 1 is a clothing range (just Doug we think though) and then Tom posted this on tumblr, and we're getting more clues tomorrow to what it is! OMG! :D

1. Mcfly’s new single is called “Party Girl”. It’s the first single from their forthcoming fifth studio album.

2. It’s released in the UK on September 6th.

3. There’s a second single coming out in November and their new album is coming out in November.

4. There’s no official title of the album yet known.

5. According with the UK Radio stations that heard the song the single sounds like Taio Cruz, Tinchy Stryder, Enrique Iglesias and 3OH3! mixed in a cocktail… that’s what mcfly’s new single “Party Girl” sounds like..

6. The Single is on the radios in two weeks time.. Apparently Radio 1 and the show “In Demand!” are the first ones to play it.

7. It’s gonna be an special announcement about the single and a sneaky peek of the stuff that they’ve been working for next week.

8. The Demo of the song is called “Party Girl in a Uniform”

9. Don’t Miss next Week .. “In Demand!” Radio Show.. Monday-Friday from 7-10 PM UK Time, cos they’re gonna play an exclusive sneak peek of “Party Girl” by McFLY (day to be confirmed) you can hear the show at www.indemand.fm

FIRST LISTEN: MCFLY'S NEW ALBUM

NOT since Kylie went grunge has the music scene been shaken by such a dramatic change in direction.

But fans and haters of McFly prepare to be shocked.


Their cheesy pop has gone and heavy synths and sexy beats now dominate the four tracks played at an exclusive listening session in a swanky London hotel.


The lads teamed up with Madonna and Britney producer Dallas Austin for their first single Party Girl, released September 4.


The result is an immense dancefloor-filler laden with Lady GaGa Bad Romance-esque “Ooh-oohs”.


Taio Cruz has also worked his knob-twiddling magic on two tracks for their untitled fifth studio album.


Second single Shine A Light shows their sensitive side, singing over club beats: “She left me with a broken heart. She took the light and left me in the dark.”


While Nowhere Left To Run has scintillating synths layered over sharp beats.

and it is American produced! Was made in Atlanta with a dude called Dallas Austin... he's produced Madonna, Pink, Kylie (back in the day xD) and others but I can't remember... xx
