that was obviously going to happen. We can pretend we are not at war with Russia when we send defence systems, but tanks and fighter aircraft make it a different ball game. We cannot say with a straight face, we are not at war with Russia

Yes, PM Sunak knows that

Understandably Ukraine will always want more. First it was the long range weapons which would make the difference, then it was the tanks which would turn the tide of the war, now it's fighter jets which will enable Ukraine to win. Trouble is Russia does have plenty left in the tank so every increase in Ukrainian military capability they could always respond with ever more ferocious strikes

Zelensky should be told that now is the time to surrender to Mother Russia, for the greater good.
