I had a load of old video tapes until about 2009. Left them in a box in my brother's room and my mum chucked them when I was out.

buy a Video/DVDR recorder

You can transfer videos
to a blank DVDR
and Edit any of it.

If you have TV shows recorded on VHS you own
they can be copied as well

Its a stand alone unit
you can plug scart into it.

Glenn. 07-07-2014 08:37 AM

Can you even buy vcrs anymore?

You can pick them up dirt cheap from shops like cash converters.

King Gizzard 07-07-2014 10:58 AM

Independent DVD/general technology/photographic shops will do Video to DVD pretty cheap, and do it all organised and in order

Kizzy 07-07-2014 11:03 AM

See this is the issue I have... I would keep the vids and watch them if I had a VCR and a telly that could be connected, is there a wire that connects to old things and new things?

Glenn. 07-07-2014 11:11 AM

I still have a VCR that I get out when I need. I have to connect it to the TV with them coloured cable things. The red, white and yellow ones.
