That's a cynical view ,it could also be because they care.

People are aware of knife crime, I don’t think knowing the effects it has on families will stop someone from stabbing someone, if they’re way mentally inclined I don’t think they care.

Kazanne 06-07-2018 08:48 PM

Also didn't someone who acted in EE lose a brother to knife crime,it's a good thing as lots of younger people will watch it.

The acting is powerful enough, it doesn't need the real life accounts threaded in the episode (it would have worked if it was added on at the end or as a separate show)

I agree the soap drama should be powerful enough to convey the issue

Denver 06-07-2018 08:54 PM

Wow this bit is powerful

Greg! 06-07-2018 08:55 PM

Omg I'm crying

Wizard. 06-07-2018 08:55 PM

The bit with all the families outside holding pictures was very powerful and beautiful and sad

Wizard. 06-07-2018 08:56 PM

It’s just a shame hardly anyone will see it

reece(: 06-07-2018 08:56 PM

The woman who plays the priest is brilliant

Denver 06-07-2018 08:58 PM

I loved that so powerful and moving

Yeah I thought that! Bring her on full time we need a new bible basher

Greg! 06-07-2018 08:59 PM

That was very powerful but I really don't think it worked, apart from the end

EastEnders tries = viewers moan

EastEnders doesn't try = viewers moan

No wonder they can't win.

Brooke Kinsella.

She was an advisor on the storyline.

When the people on EastEnders get their passion back for the show and make it good again = Viewers don't moan

Talking to Carmel in yesterday's episodes she revealed she lost a friend in a stabbing so she connected with Carmel's pain. :nono:

Not really.

DTC was very passionate, doesn't mean viewers enjoyed everything he did.
