I do actually watch Corrie:D, just prefer EE in every single way. Corrie is not doing it for me at the mo with certain storylines and characters although i'm watching mainly for the characters I like at the mo but i'll be watching regularly when Tracy is back;).

EE going to clear up the awards:). Expect to see some sour Corrie faces:joker:.

I'm predicting at least a best actress award for Lacey Turner and best dramatic performance award for Gillian Wright;).

Lol Yeah

I dont think Gillian will get it, maybe someone else like Samantha or maybe again even Lacey lol

I hope Max is nominated for Best Actor, either him, Jack or Bradley will be.

Max deserves it.

I think Jake Wood deserves a shot at the best actor award but tbh I would prefer Steve McFadden to get it he's so underrated and always ignored by the awards people for some reason:(.

I'm expecting Sarah HO Skydive death to get best exit since Bradley's won't be up till next years awards I think.

Patrick 20-02-2010 01:54 AM

tbf though Steve hasnt done anything to make him stand out since 2006.
:(

I liked him tonight he needs more of those scenes.

I will also be pissed right off if Archie looses out to that knob end Tony for Best Villain

The Archie whodunnit - with eight suspects in the frame - has attracted a surge of viewers to BBC1.

The latest figures show EastEnders recorded an average of 10.8 million viewers an episode last month with an audience share of 40.4 per cent.

It soared ahead of Coronation Street, which had 400,00 fewer viewers at 10.4 million, with a 38.2 per cent share.

BBC executives are said to be 'delighted' at the figures, which is seen as revenge after Coronation Street scooped the best soap award at last month's National Television Awards for the first time in six years.

Executive producer Diederick Santer said: 'Clearly our massive storylines and great characters have grabbed the audience’s attention and affection.

'As we head towards our anniversary, it’s clear that EastEnders is the nation’s favourite.'

The Walford drama has gained nearly 2 million viewers in the last year after a disastrous ratings slump that saw audiences dip to just 8.9 million.

Fans have been hooked as the hunt for Archie's killer goes on.

The Albert Square villain, played by Gavin and Stacey actor Larry Lamb, was clubbed to death by a mystery assassin armed with the famous Queen Vic bust.

But the boost in viewers was also helped by feel-good stories like the wedding of Amira and Syed, which was watched by 12 million people on New Year's Day.

Yesterday some of the soap's cast visited an east London gallery where an exhibition of props and costumes has opened to the public documenting a quarter of a century of cliffhanger endings.

The live anniversary episode will be broadcast on February 19.

In your face Corrie, how does it feel?
Does it burn? :p

Next week spoiler on the Masood family:

Spoiler:

The Food Standards Agency is unlikely to be pleased that the Masala Unit becomes the centre of an emergency labour in EastEnders next week.

But after an altercation with Syed and Christian, Zainab Masood finds herself trapped in the unit - just as she goes into labour! [Door handle falls off]

She faces having the baby on her own, but will someone manage to rescue her at the last minute? *Further spoiler* Yes Christian does.

400k viewers is hardly soaring away. And for what was supposed to be their biggest month of the year, that really isn't all that impressive.

Who says he's dead? Just because Bradley fell 35 feet doesn't mean to say he's dead.

the fact he's been interviewd on other shows saying he's leaving the show after this episode could be a clue.

Ruth*Star 20-02-2010 08:51 AM

He wasn't dead when he hit the ground though, i saw his fingers move when he was on the floor.

Callum 20-02-2010 01:01 PM

EE peaked at 16m viewers last night!!! :D

Callum 20-02-2010 01:06 PM

Anyone else think that Chrissie should be brought back? She would know what Stacey feels like right now because she also killed someone with the Queen Vic bust. I miss her.

Agree, I want her to return.
I think alot of old characters like Sharron, Grant, Sean, Chrissie, Martin, Jake etc should be brought back basically the ones from 2006.

Kat and Alfie is a start I suppose.
