Like Harry said she does do a good job, she's competent in it. I think it's tough to tell if she's a good actress based on just this cause there's loads of special effects and explosions going on.

I hope she gets the chance to be in more films.

Black Swan. It was okay... I like ballet and I'm sorry they didn't get a ballerina to take the lead. Although Natalie Portman is good, it takes years to be a great ballerina and it kind of ruined it for me that she was just an okay dancer. Interesting story though, so 6.5/10

Rocky II - Seen it loads and it still always pisses me off when he takes ages to get in the mood to fight

Did she not have a double to make it "amazing"?

American Pie 7/10

The Uninvited [re-make]

Oh my gawd it was fantastic, been meaning to see it for ages (I think Niamh has told me to several times as well) and I finally got around to it with help from finding out Emily Browning starred as the main role. Its a really well thought-out film.

Spoiler:

I honestly thought it was all building up to a very anti-climatic ending then BOOM the twists at the end were shocking and explained everything. Was not expecting Anna to be completely mental and at blame. But it all made sense!

Great exploration of the mentally psychotic and the acting was very good.

9/10

Love the uninvited. If you enjoy a great twist, I suggest watching orphan.

Human Centipede 2... was is it banned? The only ****ed up part is when he makes them all **** in one another mouths. Over then that I want my hour and half back

I don't think it was outright banned, it just had a lot of cuts and edits required. IIRC the filmmaker refused.

Some of the "far away" shots were obviously someone else - blurry mirror shots in the studio and stage shots taken from the back of the stalls - but she did do quite a bit of it herself. She obviously worked very hard at getting it right, but ballerinas start training as children so she was never going to cut it, unfortunately.

Titanic in 3D

I watched "The Beach" on channel 4 last night. I have never seen it but always remembered its negative reception, which has probably stopped me from ever watching it. The only thing that ever kept it in my memory was the All Saints video for Pure Shores was always on the music channel back in 2000.

Anyway, it's by no means a masterpiece or one of the best of all time but it wasn't as bad as many made it out to be. It was decent enough, good acting, good plot which a lot of newer films lack. It made me really want to go backpacking up until the shark attack.
And was surprised to see Tilda Swinton in it assaulting a very young looking DiCaprio. lol
Bizarre but entertaining.

Reminds me of my sister when she lived at home. We'd got cable and she ordered it on that Front Row/Film flex thing or whatever it was called lol.
On after "Walk the Line" which is a lot better than I expected.
