Fiorentina still keen on Arsenal's Eboue
25.07.09 | Ian Ferris

Arsenal's Ivory Coast international Emmanuel Eboue is a continuing target for Italian outfit Fiorentina.

President Andrea Della Valle admits it will be difficult to prise the 26 year old away from Emirates Stadium.

"Arsenal's Eboue is a really good player and it won't be easy to take him to Florence," he told the Italian press.

King Gizzard 24-07-2009 06:21 PM

Gerrard probably bribed the jury and the judge.

AND MASSIVE NEWS FOR ARSENAL FANS!!

Wenger in for Real star

Arsenal, 15:36, July 24, 2009

Arsenal are reported to have joined the race to sign Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who is also wanted by Tottenham.
The Dutch international is on his way out of Madrid after they drafted in Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka and Karim Benzema and at one point looked to be heading to Stuttgart.

However, the 26-year-old has turned down a move to the Bundesliga as he wants to play in the Premiership with the Gunners and Spurs both keen to do a deal.

Much will depend on the players wages but both clubs should be able to match Real's £16.5million valuation.

Huntelaar's agent Arnold Oosterveer said: "We want the best option for the kid without taking too much time over it. Now the decision rests with Real."

Only 16.5m

As long as his wages are over 80k i think he will come!!

Need to put in an offere ASAP!!

King Gizzard 24-07-2009 06:29 PM

are they keeping there shirt from last year?

i wouldnt like it if we kept our shirt for more than a year..prefer a new start every season

King Gizzard 24-07-2009 06:33 PM

I could really see huntelaar at spurs dunno why?

Novo 24-07-2009 06:34 PM

Everton And Rangers have amazing new kits

:spin2:

King Gizzard 24-07-2009 06:37 PM

everton and rangers kits are probs the worst this year, along with west ham and bolton

in fact, this is a pretty awful season for kits

i sense wenger is becoming pretty frustrating to the fans in the transfer market..like oneill with us...most hate him when it comes to the transfer window, we need 7 players or more but he wont get them lol

I don't mind wenger.

If he gets Huntelaar i think he would have done well...

Like we have some youngsters ready to play.. And i think if we don't have to many injuries.

I think we can do well..
Have more depth than Liverpool and Man Utd i think.

Chelsea look to win it this year.

King Gizzard 24-07-2009 10:56 PM

I am not confident about this season at all

were not keeping up with our rivals..man city..tottenham..everton all have far better squads, with only 5 weeks to go we still havnt even replaced barry and laursen our 2 most important players

30stone 25-07-2009 01:43 PM

Yeh, you will still challenege for a top 7 spot thought.

Wonder if Fulham will challenege to..

Arsenal's Eboue on way to Fiorentina
25.07.09 | tribalfootball.com

Arsenal are set to cash in on Emmanuel Eboue.

The Sun says Eboue is on his way to Fiorentina for £6.5million.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger was prepared to let Eboue go there in a part-exchange deal when he attempted to land Brazilian midfielder Felipe Melo from the Italians.

Melo ended up heading to Juventus for £17.6m but Fiorentina are still interested in the Ivorian.

Defender Eboue, 26, was booed by his own fans last season and does not appear to have a future at The Emirates.

City linked with Gunners raid

Arsenal, 14:13, July 25, 2009

Manchester City could make another move for Arsenal defender Kolo Toure if they give up all hope of signing John Terry.
City almost landed Toure during the January transfer window and it looks as though they could make another move if Chelsea refuse to cash in on their captain before the big kick off.

City boss Mark Hughes is looking at alternatives and former Gunners star Emmanuel Adebayor is hoping for a reunion with Toure.

"Kolo is a great friend of mine. He is a big player for Arsenal and a top defender," he revealed. "He has been playing in the Premier League for seven or eight years now so he knows this league really well.

"If the manager could get him, he can get exactly what this club wants and needs from him. I'm sure about that. I know how good Kolo is and I think what Man City needs now is a top quality defender like him or John Terry."

I dont think i could ever agree with someone about one paragraph this much!
I would give you 1000 karma.

But i cant.

King Gizzard 25-07-2009 02:58 PM

Hes blatently guilty, and the judge said hes left the court with his reputation in tact or something like that, bollocks, he hit a guy, doesnt even matter if it was in self defence (which sounds like tosh anyway) hes meant to be a role model.

I bet the other guys are found guilty, typical

Locke. 25-07-2009 03:03 PM

Steven Gerrard is innocent :hello: The jury got it right.

He isn't travelling out to play with the squad against Singapoure tomorrow though, but he did play for our reserves last night against Tranmere and scored. Final score was 2-2.

30stone 25-07-2009 03:05 PM

He got a bit drunk..
He threw the first punch or so i have heard, therefore he should be done...

But ohh right hes above the law, were they liverpool fans the judge and jury or somthing?
