I only knew him from Signs so think he's better than I expected. But, just read on imdb that he was also going through drug and alcohol addiction at the time and went into rehab not long after filming so I'm not as impressed now as it was real. :hugesmile:

But, Reese Witherspoon was the biggest shock. She sang really well.

"Walk the Line" here also, absolutely loved it never seen it before and went out today and got the DVD for £3 from HMV, brilliant film.

I love that movie! I also love The Gladiator. Joaquin Phoenix is so good in it! :thumbs:

Never seen The Gladiator. Family always rave about it but I've never given it a chance yet. I might one day.

I've never seen it either but apart from my Dad who likes it, i've heard it's a rubbish film that drags on, but good luck to you when you give it ago.

Yes..I haven't seen it for a while though..it is a great film..and Signs I think he was in..but I've never really thought he was 'good looking' particularly..or at least not my type..except in Walk the Line ..I may have to stalk him now

im very critical of comedy movies hollywood releases these days, but thought horrible bosses was hilarious! :joker:

Russel Crowe is great, but i prefer Joaquin Phoenix. He's so underrated, but he's brilliant. :tongue:

..Aha..I didn't mind the three guys..but the bosses I thought were OTT..and annoying..it just didn't make me laugh..mind I didn't watch till the end..got bored lol
..I was the only one of my family who didn't find it funny though..maybe it was just me
