Mitzeee finally realises the truth about Mercedes, although the gripe I have with this storyline is that Mitzeee would have suspected Mercedes straight away in reality if the storyline was written better but Mercedes has been very manipulative and deceitful with this plotting!

I dont care, I dislike Doug, Ste and Brendan, she has ruined Doug, he should have been with Lindsey... wtf happen to that relationship?

I'd prefer to see Riley with Mitzeee than either Mercy or Lyns.

Oh so that blonde women is his wife... all I remember is Joel breaking into the car (cause apparently no one locks their cars any more) and hammering through a car full of sweets

I enjoyed watching that episode on catch up:).

I know the show is youth orientated but it is better without those sixth formers, although if the show had more balance with the fair use of older and younger characters in terms of storylines then it would be better and of course having much improved writing too in terms of the characters and storylines.

I know, still do not understand Doug going gay all of a sudden when he was previously straight and shown no signs at the time of liking men.

I guess this is another way for them to show how some people can be confused about their sexuality or if they have suddenly developed strong feelings for someone they know.

It is sad that PJ Brennan who plays Doug has had some very harsh abuse on Twitter from some mad Stendan fans or from some people who are not convinced by the storyline though.

Why attack the actor? It is the writers that need attacking (although still harsh)

Indeed and I know they read forums etc for feedback, so I hope they take peoples opinions on board.

They need to improve the writing, storylines and characterisation and plus use older characters more and give them storylines which do not involve their children.

Hollyoaks also needs to take on board the amount of comments from viewers about the overuse of the teens and the constant concert storylines involving music which are getting on some peoples nerves;).

Stug fans are no angels either.

I do not like it when fans who watch just for certain storylines think that the show should revolve around their favourite characters, although I am sure some of these people were already fans of the show overall previously.

I am a massive Brendan and Stendan fan. But i have never attacked PJ or any other actor on the show. I always tell everyone to respect each other on twitter. I know the difference between reality and fiction. And that is all i wanted to say. :)

Carmel storyline has potential to be great. I hate they have like 5 storylines in one episode

Hollyoaks star Ashley Taylor Dawson has revealed that there is a "party" atmosphere on the set of the new-look Dog In The Pond.

The village's pub has been getting a makeover off-screen in recent months, but has its grand re-opening in tonight's (June 15) episode.

Dawson, who plays Darren Osborne, told Inside Soap: "The old set had lots of nooks and crannies, so often people in the background weren't needed for every shot because they'd be out of sight of the camera.

"But now everyone can be seen - there's nowhere to hide - so pub filming days are like one big party. We get excited and everybody messes around. There's usually someone shouting, 'Shut up!' It's mayhem."

Viewers will see Jack Osborne (Jimmy McKenna) become infuriated in the next few days as the Savages take up residence in their new houseboat just outside The Dog.

Dawson added: "[Jack] asks Darren to find out when they'll be moving the boat, but Darren's not all that bothered because Dodger is his mate.

"So Jack tells the Savages that if they don't move their boat, he'll take them to court because they're putting his livelihood at risk. And this is just the beginning of the rivalry between the Osbornes and the Savages."

The PTPB should really consider the feedback in how popular the older characters are and that they should have equal on screentime as the younger characters, which are overused but the show is still classed as a teen soap.
