Well done Spurs. Thought Hull might get a draw outta them cuz they're notoriously bad on their travels. Impressive start.

I wish Jerome took that penalty for Birmingham - could have done with a couple more points.

Locke. 19-08-2009 08:58 PM

Put 4 past a side we didn't score past once last season :bouncy:

Tottenham looking very good this season, Arsenal need to watch out.

King Gizzard 19-08-2009 09:00 PM

I am happy Liverpool put Stoke in there place. Stoke were getting too full of themselves playing **** football

Locke. 19-08-2009 09:01 PM

Man of the Match for me was Johnson, Reina also played great.

They looked very good against Liverpool. Just wasn't sure if they could continue that form.... but this is an impressive response. They have West Ham away next which will really prove to me how far they could go this season. West Ham are a good side.

Locke. 19-08-2009 09:03 PM

Huge cheers ring out at Anfield when they announce that Burnley have beaten Manchester United. Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard allowed himself a big grin too.
