I so wish I could get into uni :(

First year is the easiest year of your life.. you've only got to get 40% as it doesn't count towards your final degree. I expect next year I'll be working a lot harder!

What do you do for a job?

Z 17-03-2014 06:36 PM

!!! I've just finished off the third chapter and conclusions to my dissertation (pending supervisor suggested amendments) - now all I have to do is write my introduction and then start making the amendments he suggests. This is an important day!! :)

Congrats!

Seen a lot of third years out celebrating this week because they've done their dissertations!

Mine is due on the 18th of April, I set myself a target of having a completed first draft ready by the 18th of March (tomorrow) so when I write my introduction tomorrow that'll be me on track and onto the amendments stage of making changes where necessary. My advisor has been quite slow in getting work back to me which is my main concern, I hope he doesn't take weeks to get things back to me because that gives me less time to get a final draft together and I don't want to be working on it right up until the deadline!

God, sounds so stressful! That's the one thing I prefer about GCSEs/Alevels - your work is usually given back to you in the space of a few days. Takes about 3/4 weeks for my work to be marked and handed back. What are you studying?

Jake. 17-03-2014 07:30 PM

Meh, one of the kittens is close to dying, my aunt has taken him back to hers to try and get him to eat/drink milk, bless him, could literally feel the poor things spine :(

Jake. 17-03-2014 07:45 PM

It's a genetic thing I think Ammi, it happened before... I don't think he'll make it myself, was able yo give him some kitten milk from my finger earlier though

Shaun 17-03-2014 07:48 PM

I ate, and made from scratch, my very first cottage pie today. It was quite lovely.

Shaun 17-03-2014 07:48 PM
