Channel 5 beat 4 and BBBOTS got 580k

happybbfan 22-10-2011 06:04 PM

Derren brown on C4 got 1.8m so C4 beat C4 last night

RichardG 23-10-2011 12:18 PM

Saturday's ratings: 938k (4.7%)
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s103/...r-ratings.html

Surprisingly higher than I thought it would be given how awful the highlights (recap?) show was.

Jordan. 23-10-2011 12:46 PM

Great, they'll think it's okay to do them recaps every saturday now

Adamw92 23-10-2011 12:56 PM

Ratings are far too high for that ridiculous show they gave us last night! :bored:

happybbfan 23-10-2011 01:07 PM

I wonder how many will tune in tonight after lasts night drivel

Locke. 23-10-2011 01:16 PM

50k viewers for tonights show

MTVN 23-10-2011 01:38 PM

How bad the show was is more likely to affect tonight's ratings than last nights though

938k doesn't seem great to me  Although I haven't been following the ratings recently so I'm not sure how that compares to recent ratings.

Better than last saturday!

Callum 23-10-2011 06:50 PM

It does not deserve them ratings at all for the crap they gave us last night.

21:00 Big Brother: 1.26m (4.5%)

http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...postcount=1664

Must be the earlier start time that causes the lower audience share percentage and sort of proves that there arent really any casual viewers that just watch it if its on as the figures would be higher and audience share would stay around 8% for the earlier start time when there are more people watching tv.
So the childish editing rubbish and dumbing down from c5 hasnt paid off.

Omah 25-10-2011 11:18 AM

Big Brother attracted 1.43m (7.5%) in the 10pm hour, before Big Brother's Bit On The Side entertained 607k (6%) from 11pm.

If that's so then why was last nights ratings higher?

I dont know where to go with that reply as i was refferng to Audience share versus viewing figures.
The audience figures i referred to were relatively high despite the low audience share which supports that even though a lot more people were watching tv at the time a bigger share of them werent tuned into big brother just the usual core audience which in turn shows that the casual viewer doesnt tend to put big brother on just because its on only the usual audience.

Last nights show was on later at night which means less people were watching tv but the same audience tuned in which equals a higher share of the audience.

Jake. 25-10-2011 01:06 PM

I see...
