did you really compare a rape threat to someone saying they'd poke someone else's eyes?

oh, so big brother found it threatening and offensive.
go figure.

I don't think many people said that he didn't deserve a warning but many of the opposing to views to yours feel that it wasn't as serious as threatening to rape someone.

Now I've seen the whole argument I didn't think Callum came across that well either.

just to clarify:
threatening to rape someone =/= saying you'd poke someone's eyes out

Like even if it was a joke I don't see how and why someone would joke about raping someone...

Actually, if you watch it back, it was Chloe creating a fuss about it that made it a big deal. If she hadn't over reacted (which she clearly did) no one else would have even known about it.

I refuse to be drawn on the comments the foul American just made to Callum Best. I am just very happy that my moral compass is aligned properly.

I actually think it was perez's reaction in that instance that helped jeremy get ejected :joker:

There are a lot of trolls out tonight clearly. #justsaying

Well no, there is no convincing me that Perez Hilton on TV in the BB house, just made a deadly serious threat of anal rape(with intent) to Callum Best.

Glad we got that over with

If she made it such a big deal purposely, why was she unwilling to discuss it the next day?

You find threats of physical rape justified because they're said in a joking manner

Glad we got that over with

Braden 31-01-2015 08:36 PM

People are making this out to be far more sinister than what it was.

It was unacceptable because he knew it would rile Calum up, but like someone else has said it's similar to saying 'I'm going to kill you.'...when you don't actually want to kill the person you're saying it to.

So just because it wasn't a serious threat he was willing to carry out it's fine and even funny?

Vicky. 31-01-2015 08:36 PM

Dear god...

Yup. I dont see callum being worried hes going to be raped, as he seems quite sane and able to deduce that it was simply a comment said to rile him, rather than anything serious.

Ninastar 31-01-2015 08:38 PM

So now that I've seen the whole event in context, I can finally have a real say.

I think it was disgusting. I don't think it was an actual rape threat, but it was said to be 'threatening' or cause a reaction. If anyone else had said something like this, Perez would have absolutely kicked off, caused more drama, thrown a temper tantrum to big brother and demanded them to be kicked out. He is a walking hypocrite. He didnt even say sorry and even went on to say it was a 'fabulous' comeback.

Perez really is so obvious. He likes to wind people up to the point of wanting to physically hurt him, so he can then play the 'POOR INNOCENT ME!!!!! PEOPLE SHOULD NEVER HIT!!!!!111' card.

He really is a disgusting human and I genuinely do worry for the sanity of those who like him. And I mean people who actually do like him. Not the people who think they are super funny lol for supporting such an awful person.

Vicky. 31-01-2015 08:40 PM

Perez is about as threatening as a piece of cotton wool. However, I completely agree that it was said simply to wind callum up. His original comment was just 'il stick it up your ass' then when he saw callum kick off it evolved into what it did, for a reaction.

I totally disagree, he should have never said it and even if it was an empty threat it was a treat all the same. I don't find anything about the situation funny in the least and I believe that had it been said by a straight male to a female people would take it far more seriously.
