Johnson is Live on BBCNewsHD now
in Exeter

joeysteele 28-06-2019 10:25 AM

Good grief, he sounds possessed.
Way over the top all that.

So today he's planning to start helping the SW where he is today first.

I guess other places he'll be speaking, he'll be saying that area is first.

They all can't be first.

Really, this is who the Conservative membership want and will elect themselves as PM.
Unbelievable.

Today's Sunday Times
has a Lady that claims Boris was Rude to her........................

Kazanne 30-06-2019 06:37 AM

There's going to be so much mudslinging on this until a leader is decided

joeysteele 30-06-2019 06:43 AM

This leadership election is now becoming farcical.

A lot of noise from both of their mouths with near to zero detailing of any ideas and even less so firm plans.

Especially to brexit, with time running out and even with Hunt's ever increasing emphasis on his entrepreneurial skills meaningless.
As you still need 'open' time to negotiate anything.

Boris Johnson is simply deceiving near all the time.
Even supporters are reading different things from what he's told them.
What are others to make of his words then.

Wasn't it a good quote of Abraham Lincoln, and even more so valid now that goes.
'' You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time''.

So Johnson may be able to take the Conservative membership for fools more easily, doubtfully most of the rest of the people of the UK I'd say thankfully however.

arista 30-06-2019 07:02 AM

[A lot of noise from both of their mouths with near to zero detailing of any ideas and even less so firm plans.]

Yes Joey
it will be 100 days for Boris (assuming he wins) to do something.

One Good thing reported
on (Comcast/NBC owned) SkyNewsHD
is them saying any money give away's
is a one off
no continuation.

This is just to play to the more hard-line extreme members of his Party.

He would cause a constitutional crisis beyond belief if he did it.
Or tried to do so that is.

He'd likely destroy the UK and his own Party too, any PM would too that acted so dictator like and irresponsibly.

Pandering to the hard-line extreme of his Party will ensure his failure probably with everyone and everywhere else.

Extremely foolish of him.
