Don't get me wrong, this cast isn't very likable at all but it's just strange that this group and this season of all others seems to be the collective tipping point when we had BB15 an we had BB19 and I could probably name about 30 HGs right away with bigger in-house offenses than Jack and Jackson. I guess it's good progress that the fandom is largely of the same mindset of "**** this season" but to me it's just like... good for y'all for getting on the bus finally but what took so long?

I agree to an extent, like don't get me wrong there's definitely been racism this year and sexism/bigotry, but no more so than there has been the past 6 seasons? This has happened almost every year since BB15 but this year is the first time it's being acknowledged by more casual viewers as well.

Exactly, like this year's racism claims are just a bunch of microaggressions rather than numerous years of people using variants of the n-word and a significant portion of the fanbase repeatedly excusing it for various reasons. On one hand, I guess it's good that progress it being made but on the other hand, how is this the hill we are dying on when we've had Evel Dick and the entire BB9 cast and the entire BB15 cast and Paulie and the entire BB19 cast and the ~30% of the BB20 cast who said some form of the n-word?

Rhetorical question because I know I'm trying to find logic where there is none but the universal outrage just baffles me when Jack and Jackson really aren't much worse tan like..... 85% of the straight white males that are regularly cast on this show.

I'm really confused by it as well, but I'm pretty sure it's just because people like to hate on the 'powerful' people in the house, especially even more so if they're white males
