The UK’s largest water and wastewater service, Thames Water, is already warning customers not to “feed” so-called fatbergs – formed from a build-up of fat and non-biodegradable matter – by using kitchen towel and wet wipes as a substitute for toilet paper and flushing them down the loo. It says the only things that should be flushed are the 3Ps: poo, pee and (toilet) paper.

I was thinking about this yesterday it would be easy enough to implement but not sure people would stick to it, wonder if Aldi will do it in all their stores

Good, I hope all shops adopt this policy

Went to Sainsbury’s yesterday at lunchtime and there was no veg and no meat, though Lidl was fine, I think with Sainsbury’s it a lack of staff to put produce on the shelves and poor management as they got rid of loads, Lidl staff were putting out stuff and they even had soap!

her argument was if she is right we are prepared, if not we just have a lot of tins that we can eat

If i am right (supermarkets will eventually get on top of this) we just have a lot of tins that we can eat

If i am wrong and we have not bought stuff... :skull:

Think the supermarkets are regaining this already and the panic buyers have no further room to store anything. Even the big boxes of washing powder has been snapped up, looks like people are going to be sitting in doing a lot of washing for the next 6 months
