His arms were in a natural position where else would they go

Guess everyone will have to defend like Ramos / Puyol with BOTH arms behind your back ... which is ok if you’re not running or moving towards the ball

The Bamford offside was worse

Zizu 08-11-2020 05:23 PM

The ref has certainly favoured City today with his decisions ..

So if it was a pen why didn't we get one for hitting the exact same part of the City player?

Black Dagger 08-11-2020 05:38 PM

You make out you never get decisions. Decisions like that penalty we got go against us all the time.

We didn't even score the ****ing thing anyway so why you arsed. You got a point and you'll piss the league by February when all your players are fit anyway.

Denver 08-11-2020 05:42 PM

Im happy to take the point because the 2nd half was pitch poor but I think that was because the pitch was soaking wet

Black Dagger 08-11-2020 05:45 PM

We both played for a point in that 2nd half which was disappointing. The first half was cracking.

City vs Liverpool is at that stage where its top 3 in the must watch of the season stage.

I only caught the second half, so I am inclined to disagree

Denver 08-11-2020 08:02 PM

Arsenal are the latest team Villa are battering

GiRTh 08-11-2020 08:05 PM

Is Unai Emery back? We're frigging terrible.

Crimson Dynamo 08-11-2020 09:34 PM

We have to laugh

Swan 08-11-2020 09:39 PM

We do

Dogeatdog 08-11-2020 09:43 PM

I’m sorry but AFTV was hilarious tonight.

In fairness the only big decision Man City were given was the penalty (which led to the dreadful miss) but other than that it felt like Liverpool had more decisions go their way than went Man City's way imo.

Really ??

I kinda felt that so many obvious fouls on Liverpool players were just let go whilst a couple of clear fouls on Liverpool players were inexplicably given against them .

Just shows how difficult it must be to ref a game !!

Gomez is now out for awhile which not only ****s us over more but questions why are we doing silly international games ?

+1

also huge covid risks either with these internationals

i guess euro2020(21) play off matches are important, but any nation who doesn't play these shouldn't do friendly matches, and nations league i'm not a fan of

I think that sometimes Liverpool would get soft free kicks that Man City weren't getting imo.

Referees are a disgrace though, I still firmly have the Sheffield Wednesday penalty against us this season firmly in mind. And the Watford goal against Stoke where the Stoke keeper was fouled over the line.

Denver 11-11-2020 08:09 PM

Looks like Gomez is out for the same length of time as VVD, a Defender is a must for January

That's sad news.

This season is gonna have more injuries in key positions in teams than ever before I reckon as they're playing too many games.
