Just watching the coverage at Windsor.....it looks such a beautiful day there. Feeling quite emotional.....

I have had to set up my old Slow Cooker as the proceedings will be underway when I normally cook my Saturday evening meal, and the kitchen will be closed as a mark of respect during proceedings.

Plus as a servant of the British Crown, I suspect I am obligated to tune into it.

By the time the proceedings are concluded it would be too late to cook. If it were not for the slow cooker which I had forgotten about until last night, I was looking at having to skip the Saturday evening meal entirely.

We know how to put on a show...uniforms and pageantry at its best.

I wonder if he has been sweating at all during the Funeral?:joker:

Being serious, it looks like they've put on a good Ceremony for Prince Philip's Funeral.

Like Prince Charles Mask
it is a double.

AnnieK 17-04-2021 02:59 PM

William and Harry seemed quite relaxed in each others company on the walk back up the hill. I know they wouldn't have had fisticuffs in public but I hope this occasion has allowed then to speak and clear the air.

I thought that was nice and with Kate as well, just how it used to be, hopefully the start of a healing process

Beautiful service

The music was immense before the service

and the female singer during it was fantastic

The female singer has a great voice I agree.

As sick as this is gonna sound, I do think that this is an opportunity for the Royal Family to try and make amends with Harry & Meghan, because both sides are gonna be interacting with each other a lot more in the foreseeable future because of what's happened to Prince Philip I suspect.

hijaxers 17-04-2021 03:09 PM

Very moving service , organized brilliantly , the singers, the buglers/trumpeters and the bagpipes at the end were all fantastic. I imagine everyone who took part is so immensely proud .

GoldHeart 17-04-2021 03:17 PM

Sounds like it went well the service , I didn't see it (might watch on YouTube clips). I only saw them all leaving. The sun is out aswell which always helps.
