This absolutely.
I am only full of admiration and now respect for King Charles 111.
I agree on Princess Anne too.
She has taken the role of her late Mother's companion on the final journey.

I don't know why this has affected me as much as it has.
However it has.
There are times you see the pain in their faces.
Honestly my thoughts and heart goes out to them.

However King Charles 111 has in my opinion impressed amazingly and it's clear he's learned very well indeed and heeded his Mother's dedication to duty.

I also have to say too, I'm so glad he has Camilla at his side.
It's clear I think anyhow, she will be his rock as Prince Philip was to Her Majesty the late Queen.

I feel sure and hope the Queen Consort Camilla will be helping ensure he does.
It's intense stress he is under at the same time of massive personal loss and stress too.

He must be running on pure adrenaline now. When I lost my mum I could barely string two words together without a mini breakdown....

I hope they do get chance to grieve properly

I'm guessing they won't get a chance to properly grieve & rest until day after funeral, but I agree with what you're saying.

Who do you think you are?, the voice of the British public!

If that’s your opinion fine but don’t come on here like your speaking for everyone because you don’t.

Yeah, don’t talk to me like that. Go away.

Clarence House staff told jobs are at risk

[Some staff at Clarence House have been
warned their jobs are at risk following
King Charles III's accession to the throne.
The Guardian said dozens of staff were told
during the thanksgiving service for the
Queen in Edinburgh on Monday.

Clarence House said some redundancies
were "unavoidable" because of the change
in role for Charles and his wife Camilla,
now Queen Consort.

They were working to find alternative roles
for employees, a spokesman said.]

Around 100 staff

The cost of greed crisis is really hitting hard, if even Rod has to send the old ball and chain into work, in order to pay his electricity bill.

No, it is her wish
to be on duty.

Rod does not need her income

It's good that she's happy to do it. Families have to chip in together to get through this winter.

More importantly, are you bothered by the job cuts while the service was happening? I'm the ruthless capitalist, so anytime the wealthy get to stick it to the little guy is a big win for me, but i know you're more of a bleeding heart :smug:

bots 14-09-2022 09:56 AM

well, its very comforting that our government cant answer any questions at the moment because of mourning, but the kings staff can move forward with redundancies, their dedicated service knows no limits

Bear in mind that he doesn’t do anything for himself … apart from walking , talking and breathing
