We're all congested having a sick day at home, hoping to carve our pumpkin this evening if we get a chance.

Found out a niece who is 7 and a budding artist is saying to family "I want good art supplies" who has no concept of what that actually means... gasspppp... already putting together a shopping list as we speak and pulled out a brand new pack of Prismacolor I had set aside from a sale.

Me and middle girl CD went to McDs and talked, amongst other topics, about Liam Payne and her new London flat

…that sucks so much, you’re obviously quite low in your immunities and susceptible and baby is mirroring that as well ….how are you feeling today, Jess…any brighter…?…

aw that horrible when you feel you have just got over something and then get another bug, dont put too much pressure on yourself, if the pumpkin remains intact draw a face on it, baby wont mind and you can still take some nice photos of his first Halloween, I think as new Mums we all put pressure on ourselves to give our newborns great experiences, but looking back all they wanted was to sleep, eat and have a cuddle x

We got sick in large gatherings of people, first time was at a birthday party and this time at a family get together. Baby's auntie was sick at the weekend and didn't tell us before we drove all that way and other auntie started feeling sick on the day after having loads of contact with the baby.

Thank you! I know it's not that big of a deal if I don't get it carved beautifully and the baby won't miss out but I've been looking forward to it for ages and he's nearly nine months old so he loves seeing new things and making a mess, I think playing with the innards would be so much fun for him. :joker:

…awwww, that’s so annoying that people don’t always consider those around them when they have illness …but then maybe they’re not so impacted by it so don’t always think that some will feel it more…I know it’s no consolation at all atm but a positive is that baby…(…and you…)…are building a stronger immune system with your virus for the future…I think that we’re all much lower because of COVID and not blending together so it’s like a new build again, isn’t it…and yours is further on in that build than some……
