This exactly, best case scenario happened for Alex this week! :clap1:

This week yes because she can't get backdoored and has a chance to win veto which will save her and she has the numbers on her side. Not being nominated was more dangerous for Alex.

Headie 07-11-2016 07:00 PM

Or Alex could've just not been nominated and then get picked for veto anyway :conf: Which would've been better for her as she could've won AND saved Whitney from the block.

But lets pretend that America nominating Alex is a good thing for her game

happy days! 3 people fighting for Alex in this veto - Shelby, Morgan and Alex herself! 50% chance of winning the veto :D

only shame is that Whitney/Dani would go then, so it's essentially guaranteed that one of the three best players will go home this week, which is a big shame. Would much rather see the back of Kryssie/Justin but atm just happy that Alex got the best odds she could've been given for this week's situation!

If she wasn't nominated by America, she would've had a 2% chance of winning the veto. 12.5% chance of being picked (1/8) multiplied by the 16.66% (1/6) chance that she would've won that specific veto.

Now her odds have actually increased to a 33% win rate given that Morgan will 100% use the veto on Alex. Should Shelby use it, the percentage would increase to 50%.

Either way 33% versus 2% seems like pretty good odds to me! #TeamAlex #TeamSuperfans

But the chances of getting picked are slim:shrug: but she is playing for veto for sure and she has Morgan and Shelby so i'm not bothered, I actually wanted Alex and Danielle safe this week but one of them is going home. AN means nothing, Danielle has a chance to win still  but I guess she's black and that chances are 0 despite being saved by america when they sent home a white person who was also male. Kryssie has 0 chance of winning and she wasn't a nom by america and everyone knows that which is why Jason and Justin want her to be in the final 3 with them.

Headie 07-11-2016 07:09 PM

Ok and if Alex/Morgan/Shelby all lose veto then what happens?

Well you can't control everything, at least she's going into it with the best odds possible. Also, should Whitney win veto, Shelby can put up the replacement nominee (Jason/Justin) and in doing so could also help Alex's chances, so it's only really the worst case if Danielle or Jason win the veto.

Raph 07-11-2016 07:13 PM

I love this season i'm very passionate about the players and gameplay!! :)

Alex goes home but if they didn;t win she was going home anyway because she would have been the backdoor/replacement nominee so her playing veto for sure is the best case scenario for her.

Spoiler:

LukeB 07-11-2016 07:16 PM

This whole week was risky because of the DE, Jason getting the CP wasn't really good for him because of this

During this week's double eviction, the HouseGuests will not compete in a veto competition; instead, the winner of this care package will earn the veto.

If I was on big brother I wouldn't want my eviction to be a backdoor plan because I wouldn't get to save myself if I didn't get picked for veto, but If I got evicted because I lost veto then I will be more okay with it.

I don't wanna quote Ralph's post from the last page bc margins, but if "one of the three best players" goes home this week, then were they really one of the three best players?

Raph 07-11-2016 07:38 PM

Also looks like it's a memory comp (?), either way Shelby, Alex and Morgan are studying dates and other tidbits in the HOH room whilst the LNJ continue to bitch about Alex saying 'she has no personality, all she wants to do is strategise etc' well cause it's a game you silly people

Dude I know I have such a crush on her and her calculated personality  She's like a robot I love it! Female Paulie teas :D

Raph 07-11-2016 07:40 PM

Nevermind apparently it's a balance/concentration comp hopefully that means Alex can kill it with her background in gymnastics or Morgan with her background in cheerleading. You got this girls!! :D

Shelby needs to beat Jason to break a tie and this comp seems better for her.

Alex wanted this type of competition. odds are in their favour.

The last favourite of mine was last year  Sarah

JerseyWins 07-11-2016 07:48 PM

Could someone explain why Jason & Shelby decided on those nominations btw? Was it like a mutual agreement between them?

Also, I'm loving how good the chances are for the ball smashers this week. :clap1: If one of them take Whitney off the block and replaces her with Kryssie/Justin then isn't it guaranteed that Danielle goes home? Or it comes down to America's vote on eviction night? Idk I can't count the numbers in my head right now. :joker:

Raph 07-11-2016 07:51 PM

Yeah exactly Jersey! Essentially a 66% chance a ballsmasher doesn't go home this week, especially if Whitney does still to the ballsmashers and votes out Jason or Danielle.

Ah right of course. Sarah is my favorite ever female winner internationally, but it still wasn't an example of my favorite winning as I preferred Naeha, Jordan and Willlow to Sarah.

Ugh which reminds me -- NAEHA, SARAH, WILLOW, ZACH, KEVIN and JORDAN aka the GOLDEN SIX

Danielle offered to be put up because she thought she was going to be put up by america and can win in veto, Jason wanted to backdoor Alex, he couldn't nominate her because of the safety ceremony because both saved someone saturday and sunday. so a misfit/BS had to put up anyway

america's vote could lead to a tie, so if Shelby beats Jason in veto she will break the tie.

didn't all their studying amount to nothing when's Danielle won HOH and Alex and Shelby and I think Morgan too were all eliminated in round one? lol

also the LNJ's assessment about Alex isn't wrong :3

Ok, so yeah I feel pretty good about this week. Fingers crossed for Whitney & Alex. :fc:

Calling Alex the female Paulie is an insult to her which she doesn't deserve :nono:
