I've been watching quite a few Movies lately that I've lost track of which one was the last one that I watched.:joker:
From my best to worst: Mobile Suit Gundam 00: A Wakening Of The Trailblazer - It's not as good as the TV Series imo, but it is fun for what it is, and Saji finally had a good scene when he was at the Hospital with Louise and the Aliens. The ending could've been more satisfying though. 7.5/10 Star Wars: The Last Jedi - I liked Luke's stuff in the Film as it showed natural growth for the character three decades on from the original trilogy, so I personally don't get the controversy around his character in this particular Film personally (especially considering who he was trying to take action against) and Mark Hamill delivered his best acting performance as Luke in this Film imo, you can see how far that he has come as an actor compared to the original trilogy performances from him. The issues for me in this Film were the Rey and Kylo Ren scenes being like some sort of Star Wars meets Buffy/Spike from Buffy The Vampire Slayer. And Finn's plot being filler for the most part of the Film. 4.5/10 A Quiet Place - I don't even know where to begin with this, but trust the critics to like a Horror Film that's very soft on being an actual Horror Film. But the most offensive part was the constant lack of respect for it's own concept. 0/10 I honestly can't think of a kind thing to say about this Film. |
^ 0/10....
Not to be rude, but that's laughable |
Into The Wild - 10/10
:love::bawling: |
1917.
Technically brilliant but quite boring until the last 30 minutes. |
The Turning - 4/10
The lead 4 all gave great performances and the atmosphere was good, but the film itself was boring af. I don't even get the ending. |
I hardly ever come on here
But I NEED TO recommend ‘extra ordinary’ (two words) on Netflix. It’s ducking hilarious. |
Errementary - 9/10
Absolutely loved it. It wasn't what I was expecting, it was more of a drama-fantasy than horror, but it was great. I loved the demon character, his voice was awesome. (I watched it dubbed rather than subbed) Wrinkle In Time - 1/10 Borderline unwatchable, it basically took a dump all over a decent kids' book. Doolittle - 6 or 7 out of ten, not quite sure RDJ is always awesome, and I love me some talking animals! But I preferred Eddie Murphy's version overall. |
Oldboy - 7.5/10

Before I Wake - 8/10
It was good, and it didn't need to jump scares it sprinkled throughout - it wasn't one of those horrors which rely soley on jump scares |

[REC]˛ - 6/10
A promising start let down by the last half hour. The original is far superior. |

Also Marc, if you hadn't listened to Pearl jam before then, you should start with the album Ten rather than the into the wild soundtrack

If you're gonna watch them all, skip 3 because it's unrelated, 4 is the direct sequel to 2 :) |
