Just watched Wedding Crashers, not seen it for a couple of years forgot how good it was - 9/10

Love the dinner scene in that film, lol.

The Beach - Never seen it before but thought it was pretty good actually. Leo was great as always. 8/10

I liked it tbh, i'm sure most wont especially if they don't like Tim Burton movies.

Jords 13-05-2012 12:18 AM

I watched this for the first time a few weeks ago, just caught the end again and guttered I didn't get the chance to record it.

Always avoided it because of the bad reviews and reputation but I thought it was pretty decent.

Is the turtle going to Thailand? lol

GypsyGoth 13-05-2012 12:27 AM

Ok Empire Records was pretty good. It was all over the place at times, but the end was good.

Now I've started High Fidelity.

GypsyGoth 14-05-2012 12:22 AM

Texas Killing Fields, it's a pretty harrowing story.

Jords 14-05-2012 12:35 AM

Scream4 - decent enough jumps, good twist didnt guess it, Hayden  6.5/10

Niamh. 14-05-2012 09:23 AM

Twilight - New Moon. easily the worst out of the 3 that I've seen, nothing happens in it except a few awkward kissing scenes between Bella and Edward 3/10

GypsyGoth 14-05-2012 11:24 PM

I'm gonna start watching

I watched Pariah earlier
http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m3...zredo1_500.jpg

It's well worth looking at, it's about a gay girl before she comes out in a black community.

Are you not going to tell us what you thought of these films?

All up the page is 'watching this in 10', 'watching this in 5'. lol

GypsyGoth 17-05-2012 10:56 PM

:laugh2:

Yep, I'll edit what I thought of them into this post :D

The Divide: A group of people stuck in a basement as a war of sometime goes on above group. I guess they descend into some grim state of humanity.

Empire Records: Not sure about this, it was fun, good characters, but felt almost dreamlike and lacking meaning.

High Fidelity: Relationship angst from a guy who owns a vinyl record store. Some good dialogue.

Texas Killing Fields: Throughout this it felt like doom was on it's way. I didn't enjoy it.

This Means War: I kept losing my concentration on this, it was fun I suppose.

Pariah: Brilliant.

The Sheltering Sky: Kinda odd, I was expecting it to be some expansive adventure, it was more about intimacy I think, plus I got to see John Malkovich's penis.

Marsh. 17-05-2012 11:19 PM

John Malkovich's penis? Think I'll give that a miss.

What's Texas Killing Fields? Is it an action/war film? Just starting Panic Room with Jodie Foster.

GypsyGoth 17-05-2012 11:23 PM

It's a crime movie, set in a kinda rural part of texas, it's full of good actors.

And the crimes are awful.

Marc 17-05-2012 11:28 PM

La Casa Muda aka Silent House

Was alright, not that scary though. Main selling point is that it's filmed in one continuous shot 6/10
