Yeah, definitely, I'll stay online with hotmail to see if I get a reply tonight.

I can't make it to 4, I haven't had much sleep over the past few days and my eyes are beginning to become heavy. But I want to start a possible signature/avatar change, if not for just a week or so. I don't know how but I've been desperately trying to make something happen to commemorate her, even just small RIP in our signatures, I dunno.. I don't want it to be seen as too tacky but I also feel so guilty posting in other threads when something like this has happened and it's annoying me that other threads are getting posts in them when this has happened. It's just too big a thing to avoid

InOne 20-01-2012 11:34 PM

I'm gonna change my custom status thing

Marc 20-01-2012 11:35 PM

That's a nice touch, I'll do the same

 I feel like that too Marc, I just feel so useless right now, she's such a big loss to this forum and me but I feel like I have to try and act normal around all my r/l people.

I like that idea of doing something

I'm lucky that i've been locked away in my room all evening, I just keep tearing up and then I watch something soppy on tv and I well up.. lol :bored: it's been a tough day.

I was going to say you could of put like a black ribbon or something beside the logo - but that wouldn't work for two reasons:

1. We all use different skins
2. It would look more like a SOPA protest

But Marc's idea is lovely, we should do something in our Banners or User Titles perhaps.

MeMyselfAndI 20-01-2012 11:38 PM

I feel awful & i didn't even know her very well.

GypsyGoth 20-01-2012 11:39 PM

I took her for granted, she was motherly, and anyway I think my life is better because I got to meet her here.

bbfan1991 20-01-2012 11:40 PM

She was a big Sheffield United fan and loved the football in general, so how about a tribute related to that too in the football forum?

She was always around, even if you didn't speak to her much

Jack_ 20-01-2012 11:41 PM

It really is such terrible, sad news. The news of this death has shocked me more than any of the others on this forum, and all of them were very shocking, as you just don't expect it really.

I didn't even speak to her that much, but on the odd occasion that I did she was very warm, friendly and she would chat to anyone. A really lovely person that will be missed by all. I can't imagine how her family must be feeling :(

Definitely, I always felt a genuine warmth from her and she always made the effort with everyone.

Josy 20-01-2012 11:43 PM

I'm absolutely gutted, just can't seem to stop crying and everytime I read a post in her R.I.P thread I just start all over again, I'm a bit tired already but will try my best to still be here at 4am.

Marc 20-01-2012 11:44 PM

She was taken for granted, but she was always around and lovely. I for one only recently started to get to know her but her presence on TiBB was more than enough to satisfy a big response (and shock).

She really did, even people who'd been horrible to her, she never held it against them for long (you know who I'm talking about)

Yeah indeed, she sent me a lovely PM over last BB thanking me for sticking up for her in one of the threads, always felt touched by that. I always defending her whenever I could. I'm glad it's been a nice period over the forum over 2011 though, everyone got on pretty well and no hard feelings. It just still hasn't sunk in that she's not going to pop in to do the night shift as she called it as normal :(

bbfan1991 20-01-2012 11:48 PM

She was such a caring and lovely person, hilarious unintentionally at times and she helped keep the soap threads active, she'll be missed a lot:(.

Can't imagine how her family must be feeling and it has affected the whole forum in some way, like what Shaun said we are an online community and most of us haven't met each other in RL but it is good how he all look out for each other on here despite the antics that go on...

I know :( It just feels so wrong and unfair.

:( Or the debates in the EE, Emmerdale and Corrie threads as she did have strong views on what was going on:D:).

Yeah always loved her posts in the EE thread, one of the few who kept bumping it

Me too. I even went on a walk to try and take my mind off of it. I read Marc's message after I finished work and I welled-up there and had to bolt it from the building.

Marc 20-01-2012 11:52 PM

Night guys I'm having to bail, make it a good moment please. x

King Gizzard 20-01-2012 11:53 PM
