No, Andy is right. Carragher only has another four or five years left in him.
5 years is ok, Liverpool will have won the Premiership and Champions League few times by then.

Everton.. Poor upfront that always let the fans down.

Everton will be fighting with Aston Villa, Tottenham and Arsenal for 5th place.
That is all wrong Sir Andyman. At the end of next season, the table will look like this:

4 Everton

5 Arsenal

6 Man City

7 Aston Villa

8 Tottenham

Novo 28-07-2009 12:06 AM

Weak midfield?

Arteta
Cahill
Fellani
Pienaar
Osman

The we have Gosling [You know all about him ] Rodwell and wallace
Amazing youngsters

As foor us being poor Upfront

Maybe so, but Carragher won't be much help because Liverpool will have young, energetic defenders to replace him within the next two years. This would result in Carragher being on the bench for most of the season, so he might make 20-25 Premier League appearances in a season by then and that is just not good enough.

Sir andyman is losing the plot we might have to throw him into the castle jail for the night

andyman 28-07-2009 12:08 AM

No Arsenal will be 6th, Everton will be 5th and Man City will be 4th..

But will be very close between them, very close!

Man City in 4th and Arsenal in 6th? Are you mad? Sir Andy is right, a night in the castle jail would do you some good.

Novo 28-07-2009 12:14 AM

Guards!!!

Take the king down the Dungeons

Locke. 28-07-2009 12:15 AM

The king will not be put in jail. Andy you are still not forgiven for watching Harry Potter, you should be thankful you aren't in a cell yourself!

30stone 28-07-2009 12:16 AM

Arsenal will be 3rd.

And David

The most pomising young defenders imo are Gibbs and Richards.

Novo 28-07-2009 12:18 AM

Am sorry it had to come to this sir andyman it's the only way to make you see sense

Brad* 28-07-2009 12:20 AM

Where is your Brotherhood banner Sir Ben? Anyway, 3rd is too optimistic for Arsenal, they will almost certainly finish 5th.

andyman 28-07-2009 12:22 AM

Andy! You are full of Zeta rage.. It's you that must spend the night in jail..

We have no jail.. Iceman is the builder.

I speak the truth.. Some people can't handle the truth.

Novo 28-07-2009 12:25 AM

No its not.

I think Other than Chelsea every team doesn't look as good.

We will finish top 4 thats a guarantee, but i think we will get 3rd.

Our only problem is that at no point last season did we have less than 4 injuries..

4 injuries minimum for all 38 games...

Some point we had 9

We will do better.

Novo 28-07-2009 12:37 AM

Man utd will be champions again

Owen with 35 goals

30stone 28-07-2009 12:38 AM

Id put money on Chelsea winning this season.

30stone 28-07-2009 12:42 AM

YES NEWS I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!

Arsenal in fight to sign £25m Huntelaar

Tuesday, 28 July 2009

The race to sign Dutch star Klaas-Jan Huntelaar hotted up last night.

Arsenal are ready to blow their north-London rivals Tottenham out of the water to land the 25-year-old, with Arsene Wenger keen to team him up with compatriot Robin van Persie.

The latest twist in the battle to win the signature of the Real Madrid striker came when AC Milan’s new boss Leonardo spelt out his intention to make a move for the player.

And with money to spend after the £65 million transfer of Kaka to Madrid, the Italians will be hard to compete with if they follow their interest through.

“If we find the chance to buy, Huntelaar is a player we would consider,” said Leonardo.

Last week Huntelaar — who has fallen down the pecking order at the Bernabeu after the arrivals of Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema — turned down a move to German side Stuttgart who’d agreed a fee of £15 million with the Spanish giants, who paid PSV Eindhoven £17 million in January.

Last night striker Samuel Eto’o completed his move from Barcelona to Inter Milan.

EDIT:

Apparently we have put in a bid of around 18m for him, 1m higher than tottenham.

But we will see what milan do..

Brad* 28-07-2009 12:43 AM

Which team would Arsenal knock down to 4th place then?

BTW, I think Chelsea have the Premier League in the bag this season.

30stone 28-07-2009 12:46 AM

Imo, the weakest other than Arsenal right now would be Liverpool.

Utd seem to have enough options still..

But liverpool will lack depth this season, and with injuries too...

If we keep our players fit and injury free, like minimal in comparision to last season, i think we will guarantee 4th and shoot for 3rd.

Novo 28-07-2009 12:52 AM

pato and Huntelaar would be good at ac milan i can see that working

30stone 28-07-2009 12:53 AM

RVP and Huntelaar?

Both Dutch, good chemistry.
