Shea is a weird one, i can tell she is talented, but nothing of what she does is rememberable to me. she fades into the background of my memory.

i don't like the bitch but she clearly did better than the other 2.

and I know Valentina's running away with Miss Congeniality but I'm pinning my vote to either:

a) Shea if she doesn't make top 3
or b) Peppermint if she doesn't make top 3.

There hasn't been a stand-out "lovely, nice, congenial queen" this season because they're all coerced into behaving now by the bat**** crazy fans who issue death threats if someone so much as says "fix your wigline"... obviously Cynthia's lovely but she can't win twice. I think Farrah's in with a shot because she got quite a strong "oh she's whiney but she's sweet" edit. And Jaymes would be a frontrunner too if anyone actually remembered her.

But yeah Peppermint would be #1 choice for the title because she's been the nicest and sweetest to everyone. Only 'drama' so far was her sticking up for herself this week.

Will Cynthia be presenting the Winner for Miss Congeniality? It's just that what if she won this seasons (Obviously she won't compared to some other queens that are here) then she would be like "The Winner is... me!"

why does everyone think ru hates valetina, i didnt get that from the episode. has something happened outside the show?

I guess it was just from the way she spoke back to Ru/even thought "keeping it on" was even an option? Ru's sashay away line was pretty brutal but at the same time I think was said with genuine admiration for Valentina. And obviously some are going to clutch at straws and claim they were gunning for her or whatever.

The thing is... even though Alexis OBVIOUSLY did better than Valentina in the challenge, and was closer to 'club kid' than Valentina on the runway (yes, Valentina looked better, but she didn't follow the runway theme)... I could've seen Ru throwing her in the bottom two anyway to build the drama and feed Alexis' anger. Personally, I think she only put Valentina in the bottom two because she/the other judges are at a dead end with Nina and - wrongly - assumed Valentina'd serve a passable lipsync and dismiss Nina. This is supported by the fact Ru even gave her a second chance at the lipsync - if she wanted to be a true **** and go for drama, she could've just dismissed her off the bat :joker:

Idk if you watched 'Whatcha Packin?' with Michelle Visage but - and I think Michelle is 100x closer to the queens who pass through the show than Ru is, partly because she's "less busy" (no shade) and partly because she's always touring with them - she only really teased Valentina a bit about her lipsync decisions and there didn't seem to be any animosity there from either party. Valentina herself has been pretty gracious about how she deserved to go and messed up. I just think she rested on her laurels.

It just seems so silly to claim the show's farcical/unfair when they'll all be queuing up to demand Valentina for AS3. They'll be truly shook when Stacy Layne Matthews sends her home :clap1:

I think Valentina's edit is an indication that someone is still pissed off at her, or it's at least to justify maskgate. idk, I feel like she had a good first few episodes, which helped form her fanbase, but then afterwards she was almost invisible. I'd often forget she was on the show, and to me, I think someone like would usually be given as much content as possible.

I'm not personally mad though. I could take or leave Valentina.

I wonder how much influence ru has over the actual production of the show.

Sometimes I feel like he literally is just there to show his face and has no investment in the show at all, never mind controlling how people get edited in post production.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense because he's been said to completely forget some of the queens who have been on the show. I do think he has an idea of what role certain queens should fulfil though.

In a pre show interview someone asked him which one peppermint was and he couldn't tell them and he also got the seriws wrong in another pre season interview I think he said it was like season 7
So either really bad memory or just not much care and Input for the show

The result was spoiled ahead of time for me but not the context so I assumed she was sent home for the drama of it rather than her performance but she was beyond trash in that lipsync and deserved to go.

However, I don't really think she deserved to be in the bottom 2 in the first place. Alexis got completely carried by Trinity and Peppermint and her runway outfit, while on theme, was honestly trash.

Alexis would've got a 6 for that challenge. Valentina got a 3.

Overall Alexis' team's pilot was a lot funnier and made a lot more sense than Valentina's, and the other 2 girls said that it was an equal amount that they all put in so Alexis obviously played a part in making theirs better, so she deserved to be safe
Not to mention her acting was much better as well

As for runway, yes Valentina's was better but only just, it's not like Valentina's outfit was miles better than Alexis that it put her way ahead

If the bottom 2 had to be altered I would say it should've been Alexis and Valentina as Nina had the best look of the 3 imo

I think it was well-justified. Nina & Valentina were bad in contrast to the other two groups, and although Alexis' runway look was basic—Valentina's didn't fit the criteria of 'club kid' at all, imo.

This season has been weird for me, while I do think it's been an improvement on 7 & 8, it's the only season I've found thus far I don't have a solid favourite on (besides AS1). None of the queens have screamed at me, I've been watching clips and challenges back and Trinity is probably my overall favourite at the moment, but I wouldn't say I love her like I do with the rest of my faves.
