That's not very nice, is she from a film?

Glenn. 13-07-2014 12:38 AM

Cheryl was a randomer that Scott added on kik. She thought jess was a 14yr old afghan girl who was forced into marriage.

all sorts of tipsy and emosh (first friend of our group to get married), but honestly one of the best days in forever  just such a feelgood event

Ramsay 13-07-2014 02:06 AM

Weddings are a great buzz. the over priced drinks are worth it.

Ammi 13-07-2014 03:14 AM

I went to my first Uni open day yesterday (Sheffield) and it was amazing  I haven't even visited any others yet and I already feel like it's the one for me

The only thing which sucked was finding out that the government maintenance loan I'll receive isn't even enough to cover a years accommodation, yet alone food/books/transport etc which is terrible. D: probably going to have to take a year out to work beforehand which I really don't want to do but oh well.

Why don't you stay in the surrounding area in shared accommodation to cut costs?

I've thought about that and also the possibility of getting a part time job whilst at university. I'll talk with my tutor at college after the summer holiday to work out the best option, no one in my family has ever gone to uni before so we're all a bit clueless about the whole thing. I'm really excited now though after going yesterday :amazed:

MeMyselfAndI 13-07-2014 12:39 PM

have you taken into account the grant & bursaries as well?

MeMyselfAndI 13-07-2014 12:40 PM

I visited Sheffield last year too, it was really nice

I'm not eligible for any grants. No idea about bursaries but they probably won't give me one of them either. :(
