Just finished watching the PPV. I thought it was enjoyable, albeit I skipped through most of the show to watch the women's matches.

Women's MitB

Loved this match. Creative did it justice, in contrast to last year's which ended so terribly. I loved how all the women were utilised, and they were able to play to their strengths at some point. I wasn't sure who to root for throughout, but I'm not unhappy with Alexa winning. Yeah, it's tiresome for Alexa to always be in the title picture, but she's a charismastic heel and I thought it was fun because I wasn't expecting it.

I know the consensus is that Becky Lynch deserved it, but she just doesn't do it for me. I can't comprehend why I'm not much of a fan, but I just don't think she's exciting. Don't get me wrong, she's a great wrestler, just not someone who will ever be my favourite. Lana was fantastic. I had low expectations, but she kept up with everyone else and I ended up rooting for her. Naomi and Ember were brilliant, technically good wrestlers (the split onto the ladder was a highlight). Can't say much about Natalya, it felt like she had the least involvement in the match. SHe had good moments, though. Charlotte and Sasha were good additions.

Carmella vs Asuka

I can't take Carmella as champion anymore. I loved her as Ms. Money in the Bank, but she's becoming irksome. Unfortunate, because she was becoming my favourite wrestler in the women's division, but I'm just not feeling her anymore. The entire match felt unrealistic. Asuka wasn't able to wrestle to her full potentialy because it had to appear realistic that Carmella had somewhat of a chance. Ellsworth's re-appearance did nothing for me, and his staredown with Asuka was just strange.

Nia vs Ronda

Holy ****, this was fantastic. This is the reason why women deserved the push they're finally receiving today. It was so tense watching their showdown and the match kept itself at a good pace throughout. I thought it was a great idea to have Alexa come out and cost Ronda the win by DQ and then cash in her contract. It worked out perfectly, tbh.

Men's MitB

Didn't invest in this as much, since I was hyped over the past few matches. Can't say I'm a big fan of Braun Strowman. I prefer most of the other contenders, personally (Finn, Kevin, Rusev). The match was okay. I though Kevin falling from the ladder through the table was incredible.

What do people think of Ronda falling through the ropes? Was she supposed to do that?

Yeah she was, to set up the barricade spot.

Looked convincing though didn't it, really enjoy watching her wrestle.

Really got to give Lana props for last night. I didn't expect her to do much at all and she goes and even gets slammed onto the ladder. No matter how "green" she is she still took bumps, met all her cues and delivered, awesome.

Good on her for proving me wrong.

Alexa did NOTHING in the match, she didn't even get powerbombed by Charlotte, reversed it into the Sunset Flip Bomb she does. Sable 2.0. in terms of taking bumps tbh.

It really did! I thought she was genuinely hurt when she was outside the ring. Queen of selling moves.

The way Ronda has not been in the game for long yet shows up most of the locker room with what she does is outstanding and is the reason I love her

Just catching up now I'm screaming at Alexa having the title back already, I was lowkey disappointed at her winning mitb because I think it should go to someone who needs it (Becky) but I still popped at her cashing in :flutter:

Agree she had a solid showing, I actually thought she could win it at one point. Loved how the crowd was behind her too.

I really hope they make Rusev and Lana champs together similar to Edge and Lita

He's right like, she's an amazing character, her promos and storytelling are on point... But she's a pretty average wrestler and botches alot.

Naomi is up there, as is Sarah Logan (when she will ever get the chance to show her ability off! She's been a fav of mine for years now, since she was "Crazy Mary Dobson" on the indies).

Yeah, I like both Absolution and The Riott Squad in general. idk what the consensus is on either stable, but I think Mandy, Sonya, Liv and Sarah are all underrated. Ruby is rightfully given credit by the fans and I think she deserves a push and a tItle run in the near future.
