bundesliga is on the up

the quality has gotten better

It is mainly due to Bayern failing..other teams have come to prominence especially Wolfsburg who won it last season

30stone 25-11-2009 01:57 AM

Yeah for sure.

Just realised how quality Rubin kazan are.

People writing them off for their group.. Yet they are above zenit and Cska in the russian league (leaders by 5 points)

with a quality goal difference.

30stone 25-11-2009 01:58 AM

EPL is 2k down average attendance than last year.

King Gizzard 25-11-2009 02:00 AM

Its the recession

and some ticket prices have got higher

30stone 25-11-2009 02:01 AM

Thats a good point should start to go up again though.

06/07 Reading had the biggest win of the season beating west ham 6 - 0 :o so long ago :(

30stone 25-11-2009 02:03 AM

Im so nerdy with statistics...

30stone 25-11-2009 02:06 AM

Arsenal need to cruise the next month.
They need RVP Clichy and Bendtner back.

says andygrey, if they can keep close in 2nd to third position come the time when they have all players fit 9th of janurary then we have a good shot.

Qualified teams in champions league:
Arsenal
Bordeaux
Chels
Fioren
Lyon
Man U
Porto
Sevilla

King Gizzard 25-11-2009 02:09 AM

The days of Sidwell and Shorey at reading

That reminds me Shorey went on loan to Nottingham Forest yesterday

30stone 25-11-2009 02:17 AM

Quality reading players at the time.

And its funny insua is the shortest player in the premier league, he had to mark bendtner when we played liverpool whos 6 foot 4 LOL

and aaron lennon is joint shortest

30stone 25-11-2009 02:26 AM

GoalKeepers: - Almunia, Fabianski, Mannone, Szczesny. (4)

Defenders: - Vermaelen, Gallas, Sagna, Clichy, Senderos, Silvestre, Gibbs, Traore, Djourou, Eastmond, Gilbert. (11) + Eboue and Song.

Midfielders: - Diaby, Fabregas, Rosicky, Nasri, Denilson, Ramsey, Song, Wilshire, Arshavin, Eboue, Merida, Barazite, Thomas, Frimpong, Randall. (15) + Bendtner

Forwards: - Eduardo, Van Persie, Vela, Walcott, Bendtner, Watt. (6) + Arshavin

Thats not even every players who has featured this season and thats 36.
Big Squad.
Midfield is our strongest position.

Johann 25-11-2009 02:33 AM

Jesus christ, do we not get a ****ing break with injuries? Our squad depth is being tested to the max. Not too confident about sunday, espcially with drogba in amazing form and his tendency to rape every one of our cb's hes played against

andyman 25-11-2009 02:43 AM

Oh Chelsea v Arsenal this weekend?

Gallas will apparently be fine to play chelsea thank ****.

Clichy will be back in 3 weeks.
Fabianski is fully fit now.
RVP is back janurary 9th
Bendtner is back in 3 weeks.
Djourou is out until march
Walcott is now fully fit
Diaby will be fit to play chelsea
Wilshire is fully fit

We have terrible injuries all the time.
Fabregas getting injured now and season is over.

Can see it happeneing against chelsea...

andyman 25-11-2009 02:53 AM

A draw would be a victory for Arsenal.

30stone 25-11-2009 12:13 PM

A victory would be a victory.
A draw would be great a loss would be annoying as hell.

I reckon chelsea would be happy with a draw to especially since its at the emirates.
They know we can outplay them, we know they can out power us.. will be a close game i reckon.

Really will depend on who scores first.

arsenalforever 25-11-2009 12:36 PM

through to the next stage of the champins league

must beat chelsea to keep ourselfs in the race

Novo 25-11-2009 12:38 PM

Can see United winning the champions league

Valencia champions league winner

United are doing better this year then last year when they had ronaldo

30stone 25-11-2009 12:40 PM

No they are scraping victories in the pl already.
They cant keep doing that only twice ive seen em actually outplay people.

Man city were about equal
Sunderland outplayed them
We destroyed them.

They cant keep winning like that.

is this utd?

they are sufering up forward and agsin't the big teams

2nd or 3rd maybe a semi final place

30stone 25-11-2009 12:44 PM

Yeah, cant see them winning.

Still think they will win a fa or carling cup.
and i reckon they will finish second / third in pl
and semi final in cl

I dont think chelsea will win it for some reason.
But they are looking the most dominant team.

We have a chance for cl this year, and hopefully a top 3 finish.

Novo 25-11-2009 12:45 PM

They have more points at stage of the season this year then they did last year

Champions league final

Man united 2-0 Barcelona

Owen 89,91

30stone 25-11-2009 12:50 PM

Yes but ronaldo was injured start of last wasn't he? as was rooney.

And even so, like i said they are scraping victories. you cant play ever game like **** and win it wont always happen

as for owen, he has shown so far hes not good enough anymore.

arsenalforever 25-11-2009 12:56 PM

all i'm saying is Arsenal have a great chance and if we don't have a great season and win something i be disappointed

Novo 25-11-2009 12:59 PM

I still think United have a better team then arsenal

not much in it though
