Quote:

Good-night! good-night! as we so oft have said
Beneath this roof at midnight, in the days
That are no more, and shall no more return.
Thou hast but taken up thy lamp and gone to bed;
I stay a little longer, as one stays
To cover up the embers that still burn.

We all need a bit of Kerry in our lives,it won't be the same without you.

MTVN 21-01-2012 03:06 AM

RIP Kerry, this still hasn't really sunk in yet and it's a hard thing to comprehend, it sounds like a cliché but you were a fantastic member; caring, funny, friendly and kind, and you always knew the right thing to say, I'm so sorry you're gone, will think of you whenever the clock strikes four or whenever I'm on TiBB in the early hours of the morning x

Claymores 21-01-2012 03:06 AM

4am Club was traditionally in the wrong place

A chat thread in the midst of BB talks where the rules were no animosity or HMs based biases.

KERRY was so brilliant at it. When I'd be sleeping she'd open one. then got some other sleepless nutcases to join-in. Eventually our American FMs were nudging us to open a thread if neither of us were around exactly on the dot

Oh Kerster, what have you done. Even when not a mod you tried to calm me down when being stupid.

I'll miss you so much but please do not spook me @ 4am to wake up- there's no live feed just finished anymore and no fun/sensible natters without you.

Callum 21-01-2012 03:07 AM

Kerry, the forum won't be the same without you. You were a great member who contributed a lot to this forum and I will miss you hugely, as will the whole forum. Really appreciated you replying to my posts in the EastEnders thread when no one else would, I am sad that I will no longer hear your views on the show and your views in general were always interesting to read.

Rest In Peace Kerry :( Gone too soon

Mystic Mock 21-01-2012 03:07 AM

Lol Claymores.

InOne 21-01-2012 03:08 AM

Nice to see you back Ian, this place won't be the same without her

Benjamin 21-01-2012 03:08 AM

Claymores I'm going move this to the 4am thread. But I'm glad you came on to pay your respects. :)

Tom4784 21-01-2012 03:10 AM

She'll be missed.

Kate! 21-01-2012 03:10 AM

R.I.P. Lovely Kerry, you will be missed immensely on here.

Kind and gentle, warm and funny, those were the things I found you to be. You were a massive animal lover like me, and I will remember you for your love of Lolcats, we had some laughs about those pics, some great ones.

God bless.

Should mine be put in here or not?

Jack_ 21-01-2012 03:14 AM

I think it's really sad and almost scary at how (I believe) her parents died when she was young, and she has left behind a younger daughter herself. This world is a cruel place sometimes :(

I hope that doesn't sound bad, I'm worried that it might do but it's been playing on my mind :(

Hopefully the daughter won't have that fate.

It doesn't sound bad, it is cruel how the world works sometimes, but she'll be with her parents now, waiting for her husband and daughter. They'll all be reunited one day.

Kerry post:
You Learn Something New Every Day!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So they say.

What (if anything) have you learnt today that you never knew?

I didn't really know Kerry as I'm not a night owl, but whenever I'd log on in the morning, there'd usually be a new thread by her like the one above. I used to think of it as a 'thought of the day' from Kerry. It seemed whenever she'd seen something on TV or read something, she thought was interesting, she'd bring it to the forum as a discussion. She was obviously a 'deep' lady...a thinker and a caring one too.

.....What I've learned today is that life is random and cruel and unfair and if there is a reason and purpose for everything, it sometimes can be difficult to fathom. But in the end, what people hold in their hearts is all that is left of us.......and it's perfectly obvious there are hearts on this forum that Kerry has filled to capacity with warmth and love....and a huge smile
Condolences to those who knew her well edit: you are also the fortunate ones to have the memory of her in your lives and hearts, , I'm sure she had you in hers
RIP Kerry

Marc 21-01-2012 08:21 AM

It's just so strange

Lee. 21-01-2012 09:51 AM

RIP Kerry... you've been on my mind constantly since I heard this awful news. xxx

Suze 21-01-2012 10:01 AM

I am still finding it very hard to believe Kerry has gone :( It just doesn't seem real, it hasn't quite sunk in yet :( I feel so deeply for her poor family and friends, as she must have been taken so suddenly, it will all be so raw and hurting so much for them and there is nothing we can do to ease that pain as much as many of us would like to :( apart from letting them know how deeply loved she was on here, and how respected she was. RIP Kerry.

Josy 21-01-2012 11:56 AM

Kerry was everyones friend on here, she was always there with some advice or even some humour wether you knew her well or not, I will miss her late night threads and posts and TiBB will definitely not be the same without her.

R.I.P Kerry I will never forget you ♥
