Hope it'll be OK Cherie. Awful what's going on there. RIP to all those who lost their lives

Crimson Dynamo 03-11-2024 10:26 AM

AEMET tweeted that Turis (just inland from Valencia) had 618mm on the calendar day of Tuesday (29th October)

I mean that is more rain than London gets per year

The most recorded in one day UK is 280mm

(a day of steady rain in the UK usually gives around 25mm)

…such worrying times on a personal level for you, Cherie and I hope all is ok…I’m so glad and such a relief that you’re here and not there, though and it’s not your own personal safety at risk…this is just horrendous for the country…

Thanks all when it rains the water runs down the streets so not sure what this kind of rain will do, the only saving grace is there are no nearby rivers at least not to my knowledge...will get a kindly neighbour to check tomorrow if its safe to go out

Any danger of any sunshine?

We're just living in a murky pea soup every day atm. Last sunshine was apparently 27 October
