Yeah, It's early days, it looks like it could be good but it isn't one of those ones that pulls you in right from the start.

Patrick Jane is one of my favourite main characters actually, he's an unusually light hearted type of main character (despite his Red John killed his family past)

Great minds think alike or fools never differ?

I think it will be a similar type show, with different methods and visuals to get to the end result.

I think they've gone too far the other way with Patrick Jane. Season 1 was good, but it's gone downhill since then. I have to watch it though for the 3 episodes each season where they actually advance the red John story.

I started watching very late on, by accident, I don't follow it religiously anymore and when I do watch it, it's only cos I love Patrick Jane :laugh:
