After rumours of conflict behind the scenes, Letitia Dean has been replaced by Linda Nolan. Nolan will make her first appearance as Sharon in the spring. EastEnders today confirmed fan favourite Alice Branning would be making a sensational return this Summer, following months of speculation bosses kept tight lipped over whether or not Miss Branning would be heading back, but today confirmed her return in a press conference. Jasmyn Banks has been replaced by Lauren Goodger in the role of Alice. Sean O'Connor said of the decision 'Alice has changed a lot, she's no longer a quiet little kleptomaniac mouse, but she's feisty and ready to face the big wide world.
