Legend killer 04-05-2012 04:22 PM

We just witnessed Ronnie switch on GOAT mode

InOne 04-05-2012 04:32 PM

He definitely killed it, especially as Stevens came out playing well as well. Good old Ronnie

InOne 06-05-2012 02:49 PM

I see Carter has been getting tips from Ebdon on how to play ****ing slow snooker

InOne 06-05-2012 04:56 PM

Ronnie is on top form :worship:

Novo 06-05-2012 05:27 PM

Ali is going to push him all the way

Jack_ 06-05-2012 05:34 PM

Ronnie seems to be in a great place at the moment, content with the game and most of all on top form. It's really lovely to see actually.

What do people make of the reports he may quit after tomorrow night? I wouldn't put it past him myself, would be the kinda thing he'd do. I hope not though as it'd be a great shame and I'd love him to continue with this kinda form for as long as he possibly can.

Marc 07-05-2012 03:57 PM

Ali's inconsistency will lose him this. He's left this way to late

InOne 07-05-2012 07:56 PM

Well done Ronnie :worship:

Marc 07-05-2012 08:09 PM

He won? Good good. Well deserved

InOne 07-05-2012 08:14 PM

Yeah Carter never really got into it in the end.

Marc 07-05-2012 08:17 PM

Unlucky for Carter but the stuff I've watched over the past week, he was on form and deserved it. Really made me want to go watch it again

Novo 07-05-2012 09:30 PM

Deserved winner overall, 4th title now?

Marc 07-05-2012 10:00 PM

Indeed

joeysteele 07-05-2012 10:09 PM

Really good display from Ronnie, was hoping Ali would get more into it but really from 10-7 down he just faded. A well desereved trophy again for Ronnie but I do wish he'd end this I am coming back/I'm not coming back farce once and for all.

Jack_ 07-05-2012 11:20 PM

So, so, so happy for Ronnie. Carter put up a decent fight in the third session, and he's played excellently all tournament, but he was just letting too many chances slip away in the end.

As I've said earlier in the thread, it's been lovely to see Ronnie on top form and enjoying the game again...nice interview Hazel did with him at the end, and as John Parrott said earlier in the day, he's come across a lot better in recent interviews, more relaxed, nicer, more interested etc. I was very happy when at the end he said something like 'I'm not done just yet', and I really hope he doesn't pack it in yet because after the way he's played for the last two weeks, I really do think he has a lot more to give.

Oh, and it was great when Hendry walked out at the start to the standing ovation. Overall, great two weeks :amazed:

No ronnie :(

Locke. 28-11-2012 09:59 PM

Don't think I'll be able to get into it without Hendry, haven't really got a player I want to support

Alf 28-11-2012 10:00 PM

They're all saying Trump is meant to dominate for years now. Can't see it myself but guess we'll see how he does this time around

I dont think he will, he's likeable and some of his shots are good but he's very erratic.... I think in a few years or so he might dominate then but not now.....

I think now the big old timers are starting to drop the Chinese will properly start to creep in. Wouldn't be surprised if he saw a few new whizz kids fairly soon

Novo 28-11-2012 10:07 PM

Jack Lisowski is going to do it
