How did the past three CBB's do on finale night?

It definitely felt like a lot of people were watching tonight. Or that could just be twitter being deceiving

CBB9 - 3.14m
CBB10 - 2.13m

Celebrity Big Brother's Final averaged at 3.25 Million viewers (Including +1, 22%) it was 3.09 (13.9%) without. It was second in the 9pm slot.

It's the highest rated final on Channel 5 if I remember?

BBBOTS managed 1.26 Million viewers (10.4%) at 11pm

Jordan. 26-01-2013 08:52 AM

Wow :worship:

Jarrod 26-01-2013 09:01 AM

Just added BOTS.

Jack_ 26-01-2013 09:09 AM

Very good. And BOTS did well too which is nice to see :D what's BOTS highest ever rating? I'd imagine the first ever show but if it is, excluding that one?

Jake. 26-01-2013 09:27 AM

That's bloody fantastic! To go from 2.1 to 3.25 the next night is incredible :worship:

Not too sure. You'll have to ask someone who has a fond memory of ratings haha.

I really do think officially, this series will match CBB8.

daniel-lewis-1985 26-01-2013 11:36 AM

Brilliant.

What was the peak?

DigitalSid 26-01-2013 11:36 AM

I wonder how they'll schedule and promote the two summer series this year? Will they do the same as last year and hope for the best, or will they create more of a gap and properly promote both to boost CBB12 to average closer to CBB11 than CBB10 and give BB14 a higher launch pad? If I was in charge, I'd do something like this:

Tuesday 4th June - Friday 9th August - BB14, preceded by a three week campaign on Channel 5 and in Desmond's mags and papers, billboards, and one ad on ITV, early on the night of the launch
Thursday 15th August - Friday 6th September - CBB12, preceded by a six night campaign on Channel 5 in-programme ads during the last week of BB14, and an ad a night on ITV.

Tuesday for the BB14 launch to give the first storylines a few nights to develop before the weekend ratings dip, a six rather than one night gap between BB and CBB, to allow time to promote CBB (and properly change the house), and billboards for BB rather than CBB, because that needs them more, and CBB will be able to feed off of that.

MTVN 26-01-2013 11:38 AM

Is there definitely another CBB in the summer?

Yes, confirmed by The Sun pre-series, Jamie East the other night and I think confirmed in show last night.

After how it played out, poor wheather, great final, and lots of buzz I think it will average around 3.2, and peak at around 3.8

Boom :D

Awesome rating, quite possibly this will be the highest rating series, especially with officials

Ch 4 must be reeling.

BigBrotherfan4ever 26-01-2013 02:45 PM

Really pleased with the ratings

daniel-lewis-1985 27-01-2013 01:43 PM
