I think the last film I watched from beginning to end was "Adventureland".

It's set in 1986. I went to the States and worked in a funpark just like in the film in 1984.

..Cast Away...9/10.....

Ammi 29-12-2013 04:17 AM

..Abduction, Superbad..both of them were ok-ish...5/10...

Jack. 29-12-2013 11:06 AM

The inbetweeners movie the other day.

Life of Pi - 7.5/10

I thought the start was really weird.. All the stuff about how he got named Pi and pissing himself and stuff, didn't fit with the rest of the story at all. But other than that it was really good. I want a pet orangutan and tiger now too.

Prometheus - 7/10

I'm not really into aliens and such things but I wanted to watch this because Idris Elba is in it. Was actually really good. The bit with her having an alien inside her was a bit horrible like.

Zero Dark Thirty - 6.8/10

The last hour was perfect, the first hour and a half very average.

American Hustle - 7/10

Kind of hard to rate it really. All the performances are amazing, it has loads of funny moments, there is a really good surprise cameo, a good twist, etc.. but the storyline just doesn't really feel all that interesting. Also a bit frustrating that Bale and Cooper gave the two best performances but it is Jennifer Lawrence getting all the praise AGAIN (Cooper >>> her in Silver Linings too).

Novo 31-12-2013 02:33 AM

you need to watch Empire Of The Sun if you like Bale films

Locke. 31-12-2013 02:37 AM

Watch who you're talking to kid

Just got back from seeing Frozen in the cinemas - before you judge me know that I live in a ****kicker hick town and the only theater in driving distance only plays 3 films - and I was disappointed to find that once again the princesses were thin, straight, and beautiful. Time for some fat ugly dykes for princesses, it's nearly 2014 people.

J-Law is absurdly overrated, it's ridiculous that Silver Linings was deemed an oscar-winning performance.

Ammi 31-12-2013 03:24 AM

..Oz, the Great and Powerful....wasn't great, wasn't powerful, it was fairly average 5/10...

Shaun 31-12-2013 03:29 AM

was worse than that tbh... I do love James Franco but he just... can't act :( (with the exception of Spring Breakers)

King Gizzard 31-12-2013 03:31 AM

Why is he so big when he hasn't had a prominent and important role is any film (that's probably wrong and one of you will call me up on it)

I just can't remember any

127 Hours and Pineapple express okay but they're still not huge...

..yeah, it was worse than that, I was trying to be generous..it was really dire and probably a 1 to 2 out of 10 or not even rateable...well James France is rateable but not the movie...what was he thinking...

Ammi 31-12-2013 03:35 AM

..I have no idea who James France is and I can't be bothered to change it...

Novo 31-12-2013 04:52 AM

Jude Law played the best simp ever in Closer

Locke. 31-12-2013 05:24 AM

What has Jude Law got to do with anything

Novo 31-12-2013 02:35 PM

thought that was who Shaun meant until i read the last bit about 5 seconds ago

Locke. 31-12-2013 04:56 PM

You bloody idiot

BigSister 31-12-2013 04:57 PM

Went to see Frozen today

Ammi 31-12-2013 04:59 PM

..The World's End...there were some good bits but I thought it was generally quite disappointing after Paul....6/10...

Josy 31-12-2013 05:47 PM

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone - 7/10 - Pretty good.

Grave Encounters - 6/10 - Watched this on the horror channel and expected it to be awful but it wasn't bad actually.

The House of the Devil (2009) - Horror film that homages 70/80's style horror films. It was okay and had a good build up of tension and a good ending, but the film did drag at time. 3/5
